I'm Thom, and apparently it's a habit to start a thread after registering here so here I go.

I'm from Holland, not too proud of it but it's okay I guess. My interests are psychology (witch I study) and the paranormal. I've been reading books about the paranormal sine I was very young, ranging from the Bermuda Triangle, Rosswell Incident and the like. Berlitz and Von Däniken are known to me, and I recently read a book of Jim Marrs (The UFO log it's called in Dutch). I was delighted to see that he also is 'active' on ATS. I have some old books on my shelf I have to reread (Grosfeld and Brad Steiger. I don't know who they are really).

I wanted to start a thread outside the kindergarten, but they'll release me when I'm 18 posts further. Oh well.

I've got my own experiences with the media, and I know what a twisted reality they can provide sometimes...so yeah, I think I'll like it a lot!

Yeah Amsterdam is nice, I live practically around the corner of it.
