ahh, one my favorite bands from my youth. I've seen them a dozen or so times (all back before college). A year or so ago I had the pleasure of spotting Dave Gahan hanging around in front of my office. He was filming a video for one of his solo efforts and I stopped to talk to him. I got to speak with him for a good ten or so minutes and it was a real thrill as he was one of my favorite performers from back then.

I kind of lost interest when I went to college and their music took a turn towards a sound that didn't interest me but their latest disc was a throwback to the old sound and it was great.

Depeche Mode "all time favorite"
This year they released their twelfth album "Sounds of the Universe" and also went on "Tour Of The Universe"
"66" and "Enjoy The Silence" are the favorites
