Plausible deniability refers to the denial of blame in loose and informal chains of command where upper rungs quarantine the blame to the lower rungs. In the case that illegal or otherwise disreputable and unpopular activities become public, high-ranking officials may deny any awareness of such act or any connection to the agents used to carry out such act. (Of course, career intelligence officers are not plausibly deniable, although outside intelligence agents may be.)
In politics and espionage, deniability refers to the ability of a "powerful player" or actor to avoid "blowback" by secretly arranging for an action to be taken on their behalf by a third party—ostensibly unconnected with the major player. In political campaigns, plausible deniability enables candidates to stay "clean" and denounce advertisements that use unethical approaches or innuendo based on opposition research.

Holy crap this is getting old. Grow up. I remember when Bush was president, certain groups on the left were labeled domestic terrorists, and all the Bush fans agreed and were posting all kinds of supporting statements and links to back up that label. Now, the door has swung back around and hit you guys square in the @sses. You can dish it out but can't take it, apparently. Who really cares what the "left" calls you anyway? There was never meant to be any agreement, or cooperation between either corrupt "wing", and as long as you keep playing along with this childish back and forth, name calling BS, they have you right where they want you. They'll keep trading power back and forth, they'll keep passing laws that benefit their rich friends while shaking you guys up like bugs in a jar, watching you fight amongst yourselves having NO idea that you're being controlled.
