For all those who believe that younger people are not intelligent or 'mature' enough to have a right of place on this site, I ask you this;

What makes you any better than them?

I have found that old age and treachery wins every time.

Younger members might have parents who will get upset.

Honestly, do you expect us to actually talk to our parents about politics and what we talk about here?

Why not,your parents are people too! You just might learn something
from them.You should always be able to talk to your parents.If you
do have trouble communicating with them,find out why and do something
about it.

If parents became upset over their children gaining knowledge from debating and learning to debate properly, they need to loosen up and be just a smidge less protective. Fair enough to monitor what your kids are doing, but don't smother them.

I can understand your not wanting to get the children (or yourself) into trouble, but it's up to the parents to monitor their kids, not you.

I'm sure kids get into worse websites than this one, it'd be better to have them occupied with a safe website like ATS/BTS than some other crappy, poorly moderated forum.

Its not that I have trouble communicating, it's just that they don't enjoy this type of stuff on here like I do. Some of it I will talk about, but not all of the 9/11 stuff, they still get kind of mad/sad about it when they see pictures/videos of it, which is understandable.

A 17 year old is a child?
In a few months we can send him to die for the country and your freedom...

But he won't be able to get a drink to stiffen his resolve nor argue a point on ATS...

Hmmmmm
