donno..couldnt find any thread open related to Jimena..which sounds strange...any way Im at work at couldnt rely look very well...if its posted already kindly ignore but if not not definately this storm is worth a Thread watch maybe we can gather in thoughts and wish the best to all residents that will be effected..ATS is with you.


LOS CABOS, Mexico – Emergency workers struggled to evacuate thousands of reluctant slum dwellers as extremely dangerous Hurricane Jimena approached Mexico's resort-studded Baja California Peninsula on Tuesday.

It will become a tropical storm once it hits 73 mph, but at the moment it's raging at 144 mph which is a category 4.

According to the site it will become a category 1 by the 3rd of September, hitting land at 81 mph and then becoming a tropical storm by the 4th of September.
