I'm ashamed of all you people out there who bash the Freemasons.
I'm ashamed of all you people out there who believe that the Freemasons are TEH EVIL.
I'm ashamed of all you people out there who don't even know what the Freemasons are all about, yet you judge and condemn them to be of Satanic
origin.
I'm ashamed of all you people out there who never do your homework and just go with the flow and accuse the Freemasons of being the Illuminati, to
eat children, perform occult rituals, to take over the world, etc.
I'm ashamed of all you people out there who never read history and who never think about that the whole Freemasons-Are-Evil campaign dates all the
way back to the Knights Templar (Freemasons in fact originate from Knights Templar) and the whole Friday the 13th of October 1307 where the French
King Philip IV arrested and executed a great deal of Knights Templar.
And I'm specifically ashamed of all you people out there who think of yourselves as being ENLIGHTENED, AWAKEN, RIGHTEOUS and SPIRITUAL as you at the
same time accuse and judge people (who you know nothing of!!) to be SATANIC, EVIL, MANIPULATIVE and POWER-HUNGRY.
And mostly, I'm ashamed of myself, because until very recently, I went with the flow and I was bashing the Freemasons as well, just like most of the
people here.
Peace,
Mulder

please don't feel the need to feel 'shame' on my behalf.
you got it right at the end when you took on shame for yourself. although i see personal shame as unhealthy, taking it on for others is just really
terribad.
i suggest you avoid it.

Being an enlightened individual myself as well as understanding and not going with the flow, I disagree with you because I have never bashed the
Mason's because everyone else did it.
I was taught to never go with the flow, unless it was the right thing to do, so I do not.
I instead investigate, research, and dig for the truth in all things I speak on.
I stopped "bashing" the Mason's, so to speak, not because they are or are not evil, but because I finally figured out that there are bigger targets
out there and I was waisting my time on the smaller end of the spectrum when I should have been going after The Order the entire time, since they are
at the top of the food chain, metaphorically speaking.
Right and Left : A Control Mechanism of the Skull and Bones Society, the Order of
Chaos
I think you are going to find there is more divisiveness when speaking on the Mason's here on ATS, so I assure you this thread you created will get
lots of attention and attacking from both sides, pro-Mason and anti-Mason.

It is a little embarassing having fallen for certain conspiracy-theories, thinking one is "in the know" and has special "inside knowledge"
and then one day waking up to the fact that the opposite of what one believed is actually true. This usually comes with direct experience (as
opposed to only reading books about...).
Dont worry about it, happened to me too.

There's no need to be ashamed for others. There are those that see conspiracy in everything, they can't be helped, sometimes they can't be
reasoned with, and eventually they might realize their insignificance in the universe. Sometimes I have fun with it, and play 'tweak the nutbags'.
But, personal experience with Freemasons shows for me that they are no different than anybody else. There's no grand conspiracy, no underhanded
dealings, and they are quite possibly more honest than non-masons. It's no different than any other fraternal organization like the VFW. They all
have their 'enclave' where they can get away from the insanity of the world, and hang out with like minded individuals.
People just need to come to terms that without Freemasons, we wouldn't have the United States. People claim satanism in Freemasonry because by and
large the philosophy is deistic. 'One nation under God', not 'One nation under Christ'. 'In God we trust', not 'In Christ we trust', etc...

I never in anyway ever "bash" the Freemasons, nor seldom do I ever talk about them due to the fact I REALLY do not know anything about them, due to
their secrecy.
However, they are a secret society correct? This is what I have never understood. If the secrets of a secret society are so good for the
people that know those secrets and would benefit all of society, why keep them secret?
To me, there is no reason to keep secrets at all, other than it is something the masses should not hear. Perhaps I am too skeptical but that is just
how I feel.
Anyway. ttyl

How much effort could you have expended if you don't know anything about a fraternity that's in big cities and small towns world-wide? That's
existed for 300 years and whose secrets have been revealed for nearly the same length of time?

Masonry's a fraternity and not really a secret society. How many secret societies have readily identifiable buildings around the world and have
members who readily proclaim their membership? And the secrets have been available to the non-member for nearly three centuries.

Fox, I agree. Most of the people who claim to know sooooo much about the Masons haven't even bothered to read the writings of Albert Pike or Manly P.
Hall. Without at least a cursory understanding of those two men, an understanding of what Freemasonry is is not attainable. Star and flagged.

I approach Free Masonry the same way I do the Catholic Church.
While not all Catholic Priests are bad men... there are still many that rape young boys.
You should have that same approach before you praise the entire Masonic community as innocent.

Well, it goes without saying that the ATS Freemasonic brotherhood and backers would star the OP
BUT .. it does cause others of us to wonder what Freemasonic deeds and activities are about to be exposed on conspiracy sites

Who is innocent? What, am I supposed to think that just because Rockefeller was a Mason that Masonry is some kind of a plot to "take over the
world?" Bahahahaha

More to the point as far as this forum's concerned
WHY didn't the OP have the whatsits to
state in the thread title : 'ANOTHER FREEMASON THREAD' ?
There's only ONE other group which enjoys talking about itself ad infinitum as Freemasons ... and that's jews
NEITHER belongs in ATS, in my opinion
because the decks are stacked against ANYone who participates in threads about jews and freemasons from the get-go

A rather tiny percentage compared to the overall number of priests past and present who didn't and don't. To slag an entire group by the actions of
a few is to do a disservice to all and sundry.

Nobody's ever said the Masonic community as a whole is pure as the new-driven snow, not even Masons. That sort of absolutism positively begs to be
brought low. However, the simple reality is that no tiny minority of any identifiable group whether it's priests, Masons, coppers or butchers can
reasonably be taken as representative of the group as a whole and any attempt to do so is riven through with agenda.

There you go !
Proof positive !
So predictable
So expected
So NOT a surprise
And just when the Freemasonic obsession with itself had died down a bit on ATS
We knew it was too good to last
