Anyway, no mention of Books.
There's always the written word, even if computer's rule or whatever.
No mention of current weaponary? As mentiond by others, not many much mentiond about the rest of the world. Just a stand-off between UN, Austrailia and China.

Also still, i still dont understand how 'photons' can transcribe into morden tech. Imagine the energy needed. Our current stuff surely wouldnt be able to cope. Unless they still use fiber-optics and no new method..

Also, some of the words used, heavilly remminded me of some Charles Stross books.

I have no idea how 4chan is organized or how it works.

Can somehow tell me how to find this "FutureGuy" on there?

There are at least 50 plus threads that have been started by this individual starting from 2007. Predicted Obama's election, the mentioning of Atheist in the inaugural speech, and some other things. There have been some bumps in the story and some other posters with similar knowledge posting as if they were from around his time as well.

No idea. To be honest, my knowledge on American politics is zero.
I even struggle with the boring British stuff thats in the papers day after day.
Although, a lot of people claim that Becks speech was inspirational, does it depend on your political belifes? Or is it just from an unbiased point of viwe?

Well, you could not be more wrong or ignorant. As there is definitely "such thing as time travel" and IS in fact possible.

As to someone actually doing it, is up for argument.

Time travel is very possible, by today's current model and theories.
Time dilation is FACT. But is only possible to go "Forward" in time, so to speak. It is theoretically possible to go "backwards" in time as time dilation is FACT.

This is not new information. It is public knowledge that Steve Jobs has been receiving treatments for pancreatic cancer since 2004.

Rumors swirled once in 2006 that he was dying from cancer. These rumors came from an appearance Jobs made as a keynote speaker at a conference, at which time he was described as being very thin, pale, listless, and sickly looking.

He was not available for a 2008 conference due to health concerns.

He had a liver transplant in 2009.

So the idea that Jobs will perhaps die soon is not a "revelation". A lot of people are of the opinion it will happen soon, and have been of that opinion for a while (and those people don't need to be time travelers to think this).

I was looking up old topics and time travel stuff and came across this thread (which I read back when it started).

Well its 2011 and Steve just died, its been about 7 months since this has been updated, has anything else come to pass?
