More than a "creative writing" website, it's a place where you can post anything, and you'll surely get anon's attention if your story is weird enough. Ok, there's so entertaining threads time to time (theological fights are always hilarious, sometimes even interesting, also the "ask a.... everything" ones, we had a chat with a forensic one day that was awesome) but i would never believe about a time traveler posting there.
if you want to take a look, search about those threads on htt://www.4chanarchive.org, there's the most "successful" threads on 4chan, archived.

There is a funny coincidence in these two recent time traveler posts. One says that the next presidents will be Biden, Michelle Obama, "Miss Clinton". I think everyone took that "Miss Clinton" as being Hillary. But then in this post we get that Chelsea will be or run for president. Hmmmm????

I'm not believing either of them as credible...I think they are both hoaxes...but I just thought this part was a funny little tie in.

Obama is only going to have one term. The reason for this will be that people feel he didn't accomplish much. You also won't see another African American President until about or around 2030. He gets beat by a white man with dark black hair. As far as I know when he gets elected people will only know little of him. I believe he's a republican. Don't worry he's not the Anti-Christ. Nothing catastrophic will happen for atleast 100 + years. Or as far as I know if about 2050's. So everyone is getting hyped for nothing. Humanity lives to be really old and the Government will not tell us of Aliens for a really really long time, I'm sorry to say you won't be here to see that day and neither will your childrens children. Technology won't change that much in the next couple hundred years. But what he says about the time machine that only the rich can use is oddly and weirdly familiar sounding. I think the person is messing with you guys about the whole Clinton conspiracy thing. If I remember anything along those lines or anything pops into my head that I remember I'll post it.

I'm impressed by the thoroughness of the author. Normally, those who are posting these sorts of things just make up stuff that sounds good, but the real artists construct their tapestry by weaving into their story some plausible references to real people and events. Kudos to the author! When I recognized some of the names in the narrative, I realized that this was well done.

There is an elegance to the story that is lovely. Coupled with the fact that the time travel aspect is not about physical time travel but about sending photons and other particles back in time. In other words, the physics int he story is based on some real ideas that have some tantalizing early results.

I dont know what it is the last couple of days but all of a sudden people start posting from the future.

Well, lets say we can from this day on post on the internet in the past. Wouldnt people abuse it? They are still human beings you know.

They will email themselves some lotto numbers, sports match-results etc etc etc.

And if there were people who would use it for humanity's advantage, they would sent dates, names, and proof.

I still remember 9-11, for example. Would someone not send data to the year 2000 in which they say to just stay at home on that day that changed the world? Sending pictures and video with it as proof etc etc? Or wouldnt they have figured out by the time they have hose time travel technology who was responsible for the 911 attacks? So to could persuade people in the year 2000 to avoid it?

Come on people. If there ever will be such a technology, it would never fall in the hands of the common people living in the suburbs and working as a carpet cleaner, if you know what i mean. It will only be available for the very elite. Maybe for some good reasons, but also for some very bad ones.

And last but not least. How easy is it for us to upload photo's and video's to put them on a webpage? But not one of these geniuses from the very far future comes up with the idea of a simple photo the proof they are the real deal.

Yeah, this is what people here have failed to understand. We have been trying to test this guy for more than a year and he has yet to slip up. The things he posts have scientific and factual backing (politics and technology).

Anyways, supposedly there were others and are others who use this technology and futureguy says that his present is set and will never change but our future can. There is no doubt that some of the anons actually emailed Maynard, Palin, and other people/agencies....

I was merely posting this in the 1% chance that this was true. It was my hope that some of the more eccentric here would read this and reconsider their plans for the future.

Eventually every one rides in a car, but first it was only the elite who could.

No answer whether this is real or not. Exploring the possibilities is a good mental exercise. The picture for my grandchildren is not so great, but neither is it for me in this time.

i don't care if it's BS. that's one fascinating story! people seem to get really offended by these "posts from the future". i think it's safe to assume they're all BS.. they all have holes. but the people posting them seem to have incredible imaginations and i thoroughly enjoy reading them.

Why do people continue to believe these stores? You'd think after the 'recent' failure of a time traveler to prove himself wold be enough to deter these individuals from making up bullcrap. Also I know it's fake from him just saying most sites take up the style that the chans have, they're IMAGEBOARDS. They are NOT good layouts for any site that isn't looking to be an imageboard, in fact they're quite the pain in the ass to navigate and get around, and just aren't good styles altogether. They're easy, but they're so simple that they have very little to nothing to add to the site itself. Having an open directory on the left side of the screen with a list of all the boards is barely 2.0, every site adapting such a style would be a gaint, huge step back.

In my opinion, it would be easy to get these "future guys" to prove themselves......

Get him to mention the date, and the avatar names on a list of a bunch of posters on a thread from TODAY, and post it back in say 2005 on a site, give us the web address, and we could look it up in the arcives....he could say, for example, "in 2009 I am talking to mellisamouse, and so and so and so and so about an Obama guy, you don't even realize yet, will run for president and win....."

Give us the link to look it up in the 2005 archive......

FG: can try if you like. I've played with the idea of cutting up a picture into binary chunks and posting them here. I can't just send an image normally as none of the clients allow it. It's just not something ETP providers allow, for whatever convoluted beaurocratic reason.

Q:I'd love to hear about you getting shot (?) as I wasn't around last time. Just a short explanation would be great.

FG: As we were getting ready to lift off, a travelling group of outsiders came upon the landing site. They weren't very well armed and from the drone footage it looks as though were were carrying food and maybe medicine from one colony to another. Only the guy in front had a rifle and I guess his intent was to buy the rest some time to go back the way they came.

I don't doubt he was aiming for my head, but they can't build a decent ballistic rifle for s^&t, and it's a miracle he hit me at all. There's no scar or anything but that spot is still really warm and sore for some reason.

FG: Well the zep carriage is actually nicer than my apartment. But I wouldn't really compare this to the prewar military, I suppose they felt it was necessary to entice most into joining up.

I'd say my cabin is 100 square feet or less. Most of it's taken up by the shower and bed. We all share a vendor in the commons. I sleep a lot, and run some of the dirtier apps that the bed comes with. Memory gel is no substitute for warm (female anatomy) although I don't think I could get the other guys to agree. They've all got retarded grins on their faces when we meet up in the mess every morning and it's not hard to figure out why.

The games are sh%^, all of them are 5-7 years old. All the preloaded apps are at least that old. It's like they just build them and then never update any of the apps, like they figure it should be good enough as is. The filmapps are old too but it's all stuff I missed when it first came out so it's actually been really nice catching up. Other than that I spend most of my time doing deep woods training exercises or helping Adonis load some of the more fragile loot that he doesn't trust the drones not to break.

Q: besides the rise of the cnpa or whatever what were the factors that even lead to a national stipend? we can barely get decent minimum wage legislation passed without crying the right crying about illegals and bootstraps, it's hard to even imagine such a concept
