Urijah Faber is a beast.
i never was a huge fan of randy couture. yeah he does the dirty boxing thing pretty good but overall i think he has always been kinda meh.
his record is not all that impressive really.
couture is 16-10. not really all that impressive if you ask me.

then you look at fedors record....30-1
that one loss came through via a cut in a tourny so there had to be a winner. today it would be a no contest so the man is undefeated.

he's got 7 ko's and 16 submission victories...the man is a monster

Now these two would be a GREAT fight! I myself am a GSP fan 100%

Anderson is an amazing fighter....One of my favs to watch. Could you imagine him and GSP...I would probably have my eyes shut!

As for what I think the best fight was...Well I will say Gracie and Hughes back in 06...That was a great fight and I hate saying it cause I dont like Matt Hughes much but it was great when GSP won the belt against him though!

There's a woman on this thread? Damn, why can't I find a girl to watch wantan violence with? haha, i kid.

Let's speak in terms of just absolutely perfect matches. We don't need to speak in terms of the "best" fighters, only who has/could be PERFECTLY matched.

I for one, think the Couture/Nogueira fight was legendary. Either one could've knocked the other's head off at any time, but it stayed balanced. Edge of my seat for every second.

Lol yup my ex got me into it. I think he is still annoyed I watch it..lol My friend and I go watch the fights every month at the local sports pub. We are more vocal than they guys and we dont look like UFC fans so its funny. My bf know not to bother me when its on. He has started to watch it more and asks me what is going on with different fighters. I like that he is watching it with me. He calls it my porn...lol

To the member who question my pick for top fight...Well I have reasons why I chose it. I know its not the greatest but IMO there was some meaning in it so I chose that one.

I will say Josh Koscheck knocking out Yoshiyuki Yoshida was quite entertaining even though I am not very fond of him. This fight made me cringe when he knocked him out. He even hit his own knee on the way down...

I also enjoyed the first BJ Penn and GSP fight.

My top three in no paticular order, they were all epic, brutal fights.

1. Don Frye vs. Ken Shamrock

2. Royce Gracie vs. Kimo Leopoldo

3. Matt Hughes vs. Frank Trigg

Wouldn't be much of a fight. Silva would ground and pound him into defeat in the first or early in the second round.

That was a great fight! So was Royce Gracie and Dan Severn (since we are talking old school...back before they really had too many rules)

Royce and Severan is in my top 10.

Sad thing is that these new fans would boo that fight.

Well good for you. You've got appreciation from me then. I think I act like more of a girl than most women do when I watch the fights. Its like watching a gory movie. I know I can't handle it, and I spend most of my time with my face all scrunched up, but its fun for the shock value. Haha, you watch UFC, and I actually know what mblahnik is, so we're even.

Anyway, did anyone catch my post on the last page about the youtube video posted? Does anyone know if Hoi's arm was dislocated? Fedor had quite an angle coming off that arm on the win, and i think that joint was completely gone.

I was reading an article about that fight and it said that he walked away uninjured. It was close, but he didn't hyper extend his elbow to the point of injury. If I can remember where I saw it, I will post.

The best UFC fight of all time?

It has to be that recent one that came out with Nate Quarry going up against Tim Credeur. That match was nuts!

I don't know how anyone can say Anderson Silva is not the #1 pound for pound fighter in the world. Everyone knows that the most talented fighters in the world are in the UFC. Anderson Silva has destroyed everyone the UFC fed him.

Fedor does have an incredible record, no denying that, but has it been against the top fighters in the world? Some but certainly not all. Like say there was a QB that dominated the whole Canadian Football League his enitire career, could you say he was the #1 best QB in the world? No way because he is not playing in the NFL against the elite.

Oh ya and I am also a huge Urijah Faber fan being that were are both born and raised in Sacramento, CA! He likes to go clubbing at the Park Ultra Lounge here in Sac.

While it may not be the best fight of all time, Forrest Griffin vs Stephan Bonnar was pretty cool.

i read somewhere that GSP is a roid rager though?

i like Tito "bad boy from huntington beach" Ortiz.

that guy takes some punches from i think it was liddell or jardine? a while back which made him bleed a little, he just gets even more worked up and comes back for more.

It might not be the best fight but it was one of my favourites was Pete Sells vs Scott Smith.Awesome finish and I loved how they kept high fiving each other after every good exchange.

Scott Smith vs Robbie Lawler was another fav but I like guys who stand up.

My favourite fighter at this point is not very tested yet but the guy is an animal...Brock Lesnar.
The guy is a beast.

Anderson Silva is the best out there overall at this point I think tho.
I am not much a Fedor fan.
