Let me start out by saying that I'm from the UK, so I won't be affected too much by this bill nor do I buy into the whole left-right debate
surrounding it. What I'm interested in is finding out what this Bill is about + the implications. A deep rational study if you will.
Though it may be dying down a little now, when this bill first came into being it caused an uproar of mainly partisan debate over things like "death panels" and "socialist ideals"; while the duller contents of the bill were slightly ignored.
What I want to do in this thread is promote the idea of reading the bill in detail and forming your own opinions of it, while trying to ignore the left right paradigm. Any links of outside analysis our welcome, though try to keep them semi neutral.

That is the full text of the bill, I'm going to start reading shortly. One thing I'd like to point out is that it would be great if others would chime in with their own analysis + thoughts. I'm only one person here, limited by time + bound to be slightly biased in some areas (not perfect by any means).
Hopefully this thread will start the ball rolling. ATS is a great site, we can do fantastic things if we work together.
For starters I'll post this link I found, it asks some good questions though beware of source bias.
