Okay here is one I need help with. A research and field trip project for anyone in Australia
While we were snooping around the area of Pine Gap... this area was spotted at the cross road that leads to the Pine Gap facility near Alice
Springs...
This is NOT about Pine Gap... though I will add the coordinates for those interested
These markings appear very old. We attempted a year ago to get more info, but as Australian's say 'Mum's the word'
All my data on Pine Gap including the airport that services it is here
www.thelivingmoon.com...
You will find all the coordinates and images there...
Now here is an overview of the Nazca Plains...
A spiral and all sorts of lines in the dirt at all angles. You can see the near by high way.
Here is the area near Pine Gap... From this altitude the lines are faint and difficult to see
However if you look at the BIGGER PICTURE you can see
them easily on all sides of the high ways...
Also just north west of the spirals there is what appears to be the remnants of an impact crater...
Here is a close up of the spirals. These ones appear to have survived as they look like they are on harder ground. There are others hat are vague
traces when you enhance the images but this set is clear and easy to see
Questions..
1) What are they
2) Who made them
3) When were they made
4) Why is it hard to find information on these?
5) Does it have anything to do with Pine Gap"
If anyone can help me solve this puzzle I would appreciate it

No one wants to guess in case you come back and say it was made by a kid on a tricycle...
that was sarcasm..
I would be more interested as to why they were made rather than how.
They look like it would not be as hard to make as the animals on the Nazca plains but interesting none the less.

Maybe they are the first crop circles done in sand. Go in that direction and you'll probably find what you're looking for and good luck. Maybe
its the aboriginal theory of the time wave zero.

Well I will jump in until you reveal your hilarious joke and say ancient aborigines created them, and for the same astronomy based reasons. Possibly
related to aliens, if they do exist, which I am almost certain they do.

hey zorgon you think these lines have something to do with information for visitors coming from above?
like, my guess is that they are designed to give information about the region, maybe in some alien language?
great work btw, in all the different fields you post in haha

Not Pine Gap but very much related, particularly to the Nazca lines:
Marree Man
5 times the size of the Nazca lines

Thank you for posting the photos
That's fascinating .. I had no idea about the Lines, even though I've lived in Australia for many years
When were they discovered, do you know ?
Actually, I'm amazed the photos have been published, considering the way information about Pine Gap is held so tight
Will go back now and read from the links and other info you've provided
Great new information ... S & F

Looks like irrigation spirals.
No aliens or UFOs here as have any been witnessed to move anything.
Odd we think UFOs have tractor beams to pick up cows.
Now UFOs and aliens have to make irrigation ditches.
Call Dr. Spielberg for a new movie.
Dr Greer will want to put them to work down on the farm.
You wouldn't be interested in a 1916 finding on how edible growth
increased twofold using a treatment for one hour evening and morning
using coils.
Didn't think so.

We all know it was a desert at the time of the lines right?
I thought so.
Today's deserts might have been yesterdays bread baskets.
Sorry I didn't specify that assumption, my bad.
Otherwise it seems meaningless to be done a few days ago.

OK the spirals, I'm goofing with ya.
They are molds for the spiral coils used in UFOs.
However I doubt size counts and some plant worker is sending us a message.
Get me out of the Tesla lab.

almost afraid to post anything after reading with great interest the Sand Circles thread...
How many rings are there ? I counted 9 around the inner circle of the middle one , sorry didn't count the others, they are faint and hard to see. 9
rings around a inner circle.
9 - interesting number.

Hi Zorgon and Have a good weekend.
Cant find any information on the formations mentioned .
ancient drawings on rocks near by have mystified people for years not even the Aboriginal Elders and historians can tell their meaning.
They are the Ewaninga Rock Carvings
Ewaninga Rock Carvings Reserve is 35 km south of Alice Springs and contains some of the most interesting and impressive Aboriginal rock carvings in
the Northern Territory. It is not known how old the engravings are but they have been heavily weathered suggesting that they are many thousands of
years old. It is claimed that the carvings are so old that the traditional owners of the area do not understand their meaning. The most common
markings are abstract designs of circles, spirals and wavy lines.
might be a ancient map of the area and hold some connection to your find.
Thanks
Ocker

I wish Nope just web snooping and a few local friends like the fellow who wrote "Fortress Australia"
But snooping on site... well seems they frown on that behavior...
This one is near the spirals...
This one is up Hat road...
This one is up by the gate...
And these guys make sure you listen to the signs
They kinda remind me of our Camo Dudes at Area 51
Only thing spotted, (and there is a tread here somewhere was this odd thing near the gates
Maybe you could pop over and check it out?
