"WHO is certainly putting the fear of [God] in people"

"WHO is certainly putting the fear of [God] in people with this type of release," said William Muraskin, a professor of urban studies at Queens College in New York, who is a specialist in international health. "The description by the WHO is similar to lung infections that claimed so many young people during the 1918 pandemic."

The World Health Organization warned Friday that doctors around the world are now reporting a severe form of swine flu that goes straight to the lungs of otherwise healthy young people -- but some infectious disease experts said the alarm could be unwarranted.

I posted yesterday how the propaganda machine was ramping up.
WHO Warns Of Severe Form Of Swine Flu

The WHO is stating that people are too "calm" regarding H1N1.
Flu Fighters Not Content with Calm

I expect we will see the headlines lighting up regularly regarding H1N1 in the next few weeks and more attempts by the WHO to 'put the fear of god into us' in an attempt to get us all to roll up our sleeves.

I'd rather have them tell me about these things than pander to the masses and say that everything is fine.

Yes causing panic is bad, but not having any information at all is worse don't you think?

I wonder just how ugly H1N1 will get this flu season. Hopefully we have a dud season and people come out fine, then they can put these fears to rest like West Nyle and SARS.

I agree that we will be seeing a whole lot more of shock media reports on this in the very near future. As they begin the mandatory vaccinations and what not.

Bet you any money they'll start in the schools.

I cannot agree with using scare tactics to coerce the ignorant masses into taking a dangerous vaccine.

There is a big difference between unbiased factual information and blatant fearmongering propaganda by the WHO.

If I could add the thread I created just a short while back. . .

www.abovetopsecret.com...

"Swine Flu madness reaches 100%"

This is all just media-driven hooplah. Of course, just my humble opinion, but please tell me, how "more serious" this is?

I didn't hear about quarintine camps last year. And there were 30K + deaths.

Didn't hear one word of school closings, work stoppage, the DC crowd on the news spreading "fear and loathing" about it last year, or forced vaccinations of an untried/untested vaccine.

So what gives?

Just a shot in the dark, as I can't confirm, but I think the difference here are differences - plural.

A man-made virus for starters.
The fed's about to crash, taking the ponzi stock market with it
man-made climate change that somehow's goes hand in hand with population (just recalling UN calling for pop. reduction a while back).
more gov't control that's ebbing away our rights
nationalized gov't, which nullifies our constitution - which I'm betting they can't wait to burn in front of the masses.

Who benefits?
the WHO benefits.

They better get that vaccine distributed quick.

Seriously, I've been traveling for a few days now, left LA in California yesterday, but I was already starting to feel really bad, so far everything I have tried has made it worse. I have never felt anything come on this fast and intense. It feels like a combination of the worst cold and worst flu that I've ever had.

I have to go to San Antonio and Dallas Texas, need to be there on Monday. So do I risk losing my job by warning my contacts there in advance, or just show up and hope for the best?

Well, so far one good thing has come from it, I can't smoke anymore, it feels like I'm inhaling a mist of highly corrosive acid, it burns and cuts off the ability to breathe, coughing makes it worse... With any luck I'll die before Monday.

Consider yourselves warned.... Texas.

Nah, its just another bad summer cold, right?

I don't have time for tests or doctors, in this economy the job is my top priority.

I've been worried about catching this bug because I travel, until now I thought H1N1 wasn't a big deal.... I could have caught it anywhere between Maryland and California... If that is what I have.

Guess I'll find out one way or the other soon enough.

If this is what I have, If I had known I could get the vaccine beforehand I would have taken it... It's that bad.

Forgive me, I need to go puke.

Good luck and stay hydrated. It sucks for about three days, but you'll eventually gain the will to live again.

THAT actually makes more sense than what has been spewed from the media. . .

3 days?

I'm not sure I can handle three days of this.

I have to drive over 700 miles tomorrow in order to be in San Antonio on Monday morning early.

I am passing time here now, hoping the nausea will subside long enough for me to get some sleep. I have periods of dizziness and feeling light headed to the point where I feel drunk.

I am going to have to decide what I need to do next, if I am unable to drive in the morning.

If this is indeed H1N1 it lives up to all of the hype... If not, WTF do I have?

Just over 48 hours ago I was starting to feel bad, but assumed it was just a common bug, in the last few hours it has gone from that to feeling like I may not make it out of New Mexico.

Isnt the point for the World Health Organization to keep things rather calm, rather than turning everyone into a mad man? The WHO and UN are the last two organizations that should even be stepping in as medical advisors recommending whats good for us. Doctors have said that this virus shouldnt be as bad as they are upping it up to be...It is propaganda! Everytime I hear the words WHO- its followed by how serious and how many people will die. Even though it contradicts all the info already presented. I'm not saying this virus should be taken lightly- but clearly this is b.s. and they have a secret motive to scaring the hell out of the people...Like giving them the vacines. These vacines already contain traces of mercury which in kids can prove to cause autism.

No needles. No vaccine. Even better would be no WHO or World Organization. I refuse to believe that one organization can monitor, recommend, and assist any and all countries during a flu like this. Not to mention how sketchy this h1n1 virus is already as I have my mind that it had to have been created in a lab as a biological weapon....

People need to wake up and see who's really looking out for you and who just wants more money stuffed into their pockets.

America doesn't take orders from anyone but America.

Thank you, I managed to drive 662 miles today, left at 4:00 AM this morning, and I am now stopped at a rest area 57 miles from San Antonio... I'm not feeling any better, but I have a job to do, I stopped because I could no longer focus on the road, my lungs feel as if I have been inhaling crushed glass and I am trying to cough it up, my head feels like it is going to explode and just before that my eyes will pop out of my skull. I feel like I am dying, in my 40+ years of life I can't ever remember feeling this bad. Other than that I feel fine.

If I live through the night and make it through the day tomorrow and still feel like this or worse I will do something about it, if I miss my appointments tomorrow I'm a dead man anyway, some choice eh?

Life goes on, for now.

It is nice in this part of Texas, If this is the last place on earth for me, then it ain't so bad. This is what it looks like outside of my window right now...

Adios

PS, if I turn up dead from this and it is this damned pig virus, consider taking the vaccine, you don't want to learn what this really feels like the hard way.
