He just didn't want to show, could it not be any more simpler than that?

Just because the guy had a big funeral doesnt' mean he wasn't a traitor.
The sheeple are asleep in this country.
Even you know that.
The Kennedys are America's version of royalty for some damn reason.

The facts state it clearly ... he was a traitor.
So was 'winter soldier' John Kerry when he met with the enemy in France.
That was illegal. But he still almost became POTUS.

This country is stupid. Plain and simple.

Thanks again for the heartfelt poignant replies.

It'll make life so much easier to cut and paste your eloquent words upon the next neocon passing.

Since the "suggestion" that Sr. Bush is ill was refuted by this quote from his spokesman:

All is well According to Bush spokesman

and since you all don't think it was politically motivated, I am left to realize that he simply didn't want to be seen with his miserable war mongering son.

And THAT is an excuse I can buy. Thanks. Case closed.

Actually my first thought was that it isn't a good idea to have every current and past president in one spot.

I figured it was a safety issue.

Did Ted attend the funeral of Mary Jo Kopekne, or did he say his farewells before drunkenly bailing from the sinking car and going home to sleep off his "grief?". I'm serious here, the fascination some Americans have with the Kennedey clan, "American Camelot," etc baffles the hell out of me. They're a family of ridiculously wealthy, drunken womanizers... how does that resonate in any way whatsoever with the common man?

Wow that is so true.

I am so glad I'm not wealthy or get buzzed and get all the babes.

Regarding the Kopekne incident:
Every human being has self-survival instincts, it is an innate part of our human nature.

I'm not suggesting his were valiant, but it is part of human nature nonetheless.

Does it really freaking matter? I care not if not one single person attends my funeral. He is dead, move on. We all die. He was a Senator big whoop. You glorify these people undeservedly so.

I respect Ted Kennedy's service to his state of Massachusetts and his many positive contributions over long years in the Senate. I watched his memorial service on cable.

That said, it's just possible Bush, Sr. didn't like him very much. It could be Kennedy opposed some legislation that Bush favored or maybe there was just a personality clash.

Whatever it was, it doesn't make a difference to me.

I don't think a person should go to the funeral of somebody they aren't sincerely fond or respectful of.

If he wasnt a kennedy nobody would care. Im ready for the media to drop the subject. If it was anyone but a Kennedy the coverage would be very limited. Japan is having elections right now, on the great scheme of things that is a little more important than one of "Americas Royal Family" dying.... one big yawn here.

I think this whole thread is a joke. Ha ha!

Well, i, for one, love the Kennedys, they represented the class that was this country, and compared to these stupid bafoons who have been leading the country for the past years, KILLING MILLIONS, just for the hell of it, just for the fun of a fake attack, just for the hell of it, sending people to wars that were and are PHONEY WARS, just to accomplish their agenda,
so many CRIMINALS, also drunk on Satanism and Evil....AND YOU ALL KNOW THOSE BASTARDS ARE ALL CRIMINALS, and they're not done yet.....
When you put this whole scenario together, damn it, it doesnt seem much for a MAN to go off the road, perhaps in a drunken stupor and kill ONE person, who did not deserve to die, but it was an accident...damn it.....

WHAT THIS COUNTRY IS DOING TO US AND THE REST OF THE WORLD IS CRIMINAL, OF THE HIGHEST ORDER,....

DONT BE STUPID- COMPARE TED KENNEDY WITH GEORGE AND CHENEY AND I ASK YOU, WHO IS MORE SINISTER, WHO WHO WHO???????

YOU GUYS DONT EVEN CARE, RIGHT? WHO IS MORE EVIL?
YOU SEEM TO FORGET ALL THOSE INNOCENT LIVES DEAD AND LOST IN THE MIDDLE EAST, CHILDREN, AT HOME, BLACK OPS, FEARMONGERING,

I WILL TAKE A DEAD KENNEDY AND MAKE THEM A SAINT compared to all the evil the past couple of administrations have inflicted on THE WHOLE WORLD.

VACCINES ANYONE??????

Love it

Given that, I deem this as an appropriate reply.........

Lyrics by the somewhat obscure punk band:
THE DEAD KENNEDY'S

Song Title: GOVERNMENT FLU

"Government Flu"

We got a drug
We're gonna try it out on you
Won't make you die
It'll getcha just a little bit sick

[Chorus]
Got a head cold
Got a chest cold
And it's three days old
(Goin' on forever)
Make you hazy
Make you lazy
Drive you crazy
For days and days and days and days and days
And years

Barely got the time now
To stay on the job
Double up the dosage in your water supply
Make you even sicker 'til you're slippin' away

Getting all depressed
It's getting all your friends
You can't get it up
For nothing that'll rock the boat

The government flu
The government flu
The government flu

Slip it abroad
Keep a-slowin' down the USSR
But meanwhile
We'll keep an eye
On what it's doin' to you

[Chorus]
Got a head cold
Got a chest cold
And it's three days old
(Goin' on forever)
Make you hazy
Make you lazy
Drive you crazy
For days and days and days and days and days
And days and days and days and days and days
And days and days and days and days and days
And years

The government flu
The government flu
The government flu
Flew
Through
You

Frankenchrist man!! The DK's are not somewhat obscure. Jello is probably an ATS member so look out. I oppose to this thread

Another letter from the Senator written back in 1971 concerning his early opposition to abortion. He changed his stance later and probably regretted it.

Sorry, I did mention 'somewhat' obscure.

I don't think the Pat Boone fans on here will dig 'em.

As far as your link / lettter. I hope I don't have to dig up any old Alice Cooper.

Regards...Kurious
