Film Producer Accuses NEA of Enlisting Artists to Push Obama's Domestic Agenda

www.foxnews.com

A 39-year-old Los Angeles film producer is accusing the National Endowment for the Arts of initiating a "call to action" to artists to support President Obama's domestic agenda.

Courrielche said the now ubiquitous Obama "Hope" poster by artist Shepard Fairey and musician will.i.am's "Yes We Can" song and music video were offered as "shining examples" of the artist group's clear impact on Obama's landslide election.

The "potential propaganda machine," Courrielche said, is concerning on many levels.

Well, it was only a matter of time before we had a Ministry of Propaganda created in this country.

This is troubling on a number of levels, most notably injecting politics into the arts as well as cramping down the creativity of artists by focusing their talents on blatant, political nonsense. Many artists rely on NEA grants to support their work and being suggested to provide this "service" to the government can only have a chilling effect on them.

The artistic components aside, this is yet another example which shows that the government is losing ground on this agenda and now needs to enlist folks to generate slick pap to entice the citizens of the country to be lulled into supporting this agenda.

We can debate the value of the NEA on another thread, should someone want to.

You can go down the list of things going on here:
-- Government takeover of private industry
-- children being used to complete a census
-- Penalties should you not choose to accept a vaccine that has not been through thorough clinical trials
-- 32 unvetted czars in the government with no oversite, congressional review, black budgets
-- Pushing for socialized medicine
-- deep connections with groups such as ACORN, the Appolo Alliance and other radical groups
-- government beginning to "profile" reporters
-- government ability to commandeer the private internet
--

Folks really need to take a step back and think about what is going on. Read a bit of history. I'll not go into specific situations where this kind of ideology was pushed so as not to be considered a "hater", but we can all figure what fantastic regimes in history used many of these tactics
