Why isn't there one Religion

If there is one True god why has he/she/it let all the other religions exist, surely the one true god would put an end to the fake religions.
Please someone explain . Im confused.

But uhm, I don't think thats a good thing. Religion should go away all together.

Maybe not all religions have "one true god". If there is a god maybe it is not interested in stomping out others.

acturly its what "religion" is all about:
you
your spiritual growth
you becoming god , creator of life

i cant understand how people miss that part

not everyone sees the same way

It's one of those "hey guys i have a question" thread where the OP attempts to draw out the extremes on both ends. It is really just set up for Athiests to come in and say "because there is no god". CiR is full of these questions. If there is a god then why _______ or some variation of.

I believe that if any religion was "true" it would come naturally.
It would not need to be taught.
There would not be 2500 different kinds.

To find the true religion, my theory is...

Take 5 groups of 100 childeren.

Place them in different regions around the world.
Keep them away from all outside influence.
If there is any religion/ that comes from them it would be true/raw/honest
If there was any direct proof of it this would be very "up front"
The evidence would be easy to see very fast 10-15 years
Oh wait this has already been done, and has answers already given.
Religion is man made, no way around it.

Maybe because it is Gods intention to let us find the one true religion ourselves by our free will. It has always been said that God gives all of us choices and does not 'aggressively rule' " his/her/its" creations. God is passive and lets us make our own decisions... At least that is my take anyways...

The only thing that the concept of God can be equated to is consiouscness which makes up everything around you. God allows you freewill. There are choices and they have consequences. Thats it!

Every action has an opposite and opposing reaction.

There is no such thing as good and evil.

That is a man made concept and the foundation of religious belief.

From my perspective, there was originally one religion. Satan though corrupted this one true idea/religion toward God in attempt to get worship. This resulted, through the passage of time, with the variations and different religions that we see today. In addition, since there is one true source, that explains why all religions "teach essentially the same thing" as people say today. Since Satan wanted to have an alternative to get worship for himself, he had to create a counterfeit, a faith that seems very similar to the one he was copying. It's like if I try to make a counterfeit $20 bill. I make it as real as I can. I don't change it by adding my picture and making it blue.

God leaves all other religions alone because he loves us so much that he gave us free will to slaughter each other in our hundreds of millions so that we could fully understand just how much he loves us

Maybe because there is no such thing as "Truth" with a capital T.
Maybe we are incapable of understanding God. Maybe there is no God as we think of it.
OR, maybe God isn't interested in religion.

I was brought up on christianity, i then went to a catholic school for 8 years.
I then started to believe other things.

The only way its going to get two pages is if you keep posting things which have nothing to do with my question.

Well i appologize. I just see this as a method baiting a side into an argument. While you did post a question it really has nothing to do with Conspiracy in Religion and the thought put into such a question is on the level of asking if there is a god then why does he let kittens die. I was always under the impression CiR is about conspiracy and was not a forum for general Q and As about religion. So in my eyes you could have just as well posted "how is babby formed".
