U.S. moves toward formal cut off of aid to Honduras

WASHINGTON, Aug 27 (Reuters) - U.S. State Department staff have recommended that the ouster of Honduran President Manuel Zelaya be declared a "military coup," a U.S. official said on Thursday, a step that could cut off as much as $150 million in U.S. funding to the impoverished Central American nation.

The official, who spoke on condition he not be named, said State Department staff had made such a recommendation to U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who has yet to make a decision on the matter although one was likely soon

Keep an eye on this situation I beleive America's fate is that of Honduras. After the rise of the American people gets to this point the U.S. Gov't will treat us much the same as the people of Honduras. The Military coup aren't much differnent than the people that are showing up at the Townhalls. We know the amount of corruption will only increase in the 2012 election. Including voting fraud with all the different ACORN groups running around it will look like a third world country election.

I've been in Honduras since January this year. There is something running far deeper than most know. Honduras is becoming sort of an epicenter for regional geo-politic power struggle.
Im preparing a good documentation and theory thread on this.

It's odd that after Chavez took all the effort to help the now disposed Honduran Prez. with those ballots. Chavez is the paragon of the democratic process. Notice that for all the anger over any US involvement in South America, the US was still asked to intervene with the Honduran "coup".
