Remember the Paul Wellstone fiasco? Taking advantage of a crisis (Rahm Emmanuel), or taking advantage of the death of a Senator is SOP for Democrats. The only thing is that it usually backfires on them.

Dead on the mark! The lefties deriding Rush for predicting:

1) Teddy dying before Obamacare is passed.
2) The Democrats attempting to take advantage of Teddy's death before his corpse is in the ground by renaming the failing Obamacare to Teddycare.

Just another failed Democratic agenda to place in their Book of Shame.

Don't forget, now that it's named Teddycare, when it fails it won't be blamed on Obama anymore!

As for Rush, the guy takes a LOT of crap for what he does. I don't think he deserves it, and I find it funny that someone in this thread mentioned "caricature" in a description of Rush as a negative, because the left has been portraying him in their own way for so long, that for someone who's never actually taken the time to listen to him, their view of him would actually be the caricature.

I am a "lefty," but listen, lets give Limbaugh credit where credit is due...he isn't falling for the "Kennedy was a god" fiasco, and is actually telling the truth about hows Dems are using him for self-gain. Rush, I give ya a

Couple that argument with his statement from earlier this year that the health-care bill wouldn't be passed while Ted Kennedy was alive, and your have yourself a prime situation for every overzealous Obama supporter to argue that Limbaugh's views stem from ignorance. While they often do, in this case, Rush is right.

The fact that Barack Obama is delivering the eulogy lends further credence to Limbaugh's theory. Obama loves the camera, and he isn't going to let such a high-profile event pass without plugging his health-care bill.

That's one among a hundred reasons why he's being mourned.

Everyone knew Kennedy had cancer. It was a no-brainer for Rush to predict his death, or to predict that health care reform legislation was going to take time. Well Duh.

No offense but if I'm gonna side with anyone on this between Kennedy and rush Limbaugh...its gonna be Limbaugh. I don't see why people take so much offense to these radio and tv show hosts for just stating political opinions (and probably calling it news).

Limbaugh may be a loud and annoying host but at least he wasn't one of many corrupt politicians like Teddy. Limbaugh also didnt kill his mistress and let her drown in a lake after crashing drunk.

Why go against someone who it sounds like is trying to do you a favor by not wanting this bill passed?

All Limbaugh had to do is look at previous Democrat history, like the Paul Wellstone fiasco, to make this obvious prediction. He predicted TeddyCare over a year ago, and the predictable Democrats are going to go for it.

Limbaugh was not celebrating the Swimmers death, he was pointing out the obvious.

The way Mr. Obama is going it's not going to be much longer before we need bigger bills.

Ted Kennedy was gonna die whether Rush made a prediction or not.

He's not congratulating himself for killing him. It's for what would happen when he dies. I don't see the big deal.

For some reason, I thought Rush Limbaugh would not say much about
Senator Kennedy after his death because he made so much fun of his
personal life over the years. (i.e. Ted "Hiccup!" Kennedy)

Rush should have been respectful (and a least a little embarassed of
his past actions) for a few days anyways.
