What's the difference between this ad and all the campaign/election ads they ran?

In this economy, I am surprised these two stations are by passing the opportunity to make money for their employees/company.

Are they THAT afraid of the truth?

I think they're more afraid of losing all the money the government pays them to spread their propaganda.

Answer to your question, Yes, very much so.

I wish people would just take 10 minutes to go through some of the outrageous things that this bill allows. I think everyone would be against if so...

Thanks Mike.

I would say let's boycott ABC and NBC, but seriously, who still watches them?

Do you know anything about who else is heavily influenced by these two and how far-reaching the censorship goes? Do you know of any stations that have played the spot already?

Any comments about the accuracy of the statements, or the text throughout the add?

Ireally don't know what they are so afraid of. This seems like panic mode to me.

I was surprised to find LOTS of consumer protection, anti fraud stipulation and punishment for such, hell quite a few thing I think are a step in the right direction...

Anyhow this commercial is by these guys axisofright.com...

I'm not sure what I am supposed to be arguing here,

To be honest, was watching Greta on Fox. She aired the ad. Then I searched it and knew what I was looking for. This is getting beyond silly. It's a very innocuous ad. Not inflamitory, not hateful, I don't understand their agenda.

I agree with you, it didn't really offer anything new. -and thanks for reading the bill by the way- the issue is the networks failure to run the ads. I know the arguement, they are a private company-don't have to run the ads- but they run a public network. They are now chosing to deny access of information to segments of the public.

Not good my friend, not good.

If more people actually read the bill we wouldn't have to worry about them passing it. The villigers would be storming the castle.

Panic mode A???

Not really, it is more frustration mode... You guys are so wrapped up in your concerns that you forget millions of people are up the creek. Along with many people like me who would be happy enough with some effective legislation, less all the socialism's.

So to be frank, I am sort of waiting to have my opinion and concern reach the mainstream. Unfortunately this has been ratcheted up to NAZI talk which does not allow for a less emotional or subtle debate. I am starting to think the whole point is to do nothing AT ALL. Is that true Mike???

Well to be fair Mike, being the horrible liberal I am, if this information was being completely suppressed I might be inclined to be POed. But I think just the opposite is the case. I am waiting for the Rights argument to expand and get deeper, but so far
the content of the commercial is about all I have been hearing for weeks and weeks.

I've been reading the bill, too. I see some good things in it, and I see some things that make me go, hmmm.........how will this be twisted, if someone wants to twist it? Some democrats are speaking out against some of the provisions in the bill. Would it give you a warm fuzzy feeling if a left wing group produced an ad against this bill? Or is it just the left/right paradigm with you?

MELLISA, I assure you, people in Africa are likely aware of the points issued in this commercial.

I mean you guys, have you not been paying attention? Of course this is a free country,
but I think it is a waste of time. The commercial itself is like a commercial that consists a photo of Michael Jackson along with a banner that reads "Michael Jackson is dead"
