What a great idea for a thread lisa, thank you. I have flagged it and will return constantly to see all the suggetions offered by ATS members. I love learning and this is a great way to find things I didn't know existed.
Just by watching a video link that a member posted this week, I found a friend I lost 40 yrs ago. One link leads to another.......
Also I think this deserves a star. Magantice

I tried to think of one book I could link to but I can't narrow it down that small and since I don't want to get in trouble for linking to torrents that might have copyrighted material I'll leave you with a tip:

Sites like ThePirateBay.com are GREAT places to collect a large number of books in digital formats. My elibrary now consists of hundreds of books ranging from combat, survival, toxicology and I have a large collection of ancient Occult books, some hundreds of years old.

I just thought I'd mention torrents as a good place to find books for free 'cause I didn't think of it myself right away.

(hint: you need to download "BitTorrent", it's free, simple and runs in the background, but Torrents aren't like other p2p, it's safer)

Here is a link to some books by one of my favourite authors - Robert Anton Wilson.

I'd recommend 'Prometheus Rising'

Lisa 2012 - thank you for providing a link to Controversial TV. I had no idea such a thing existed.

Another of my favourite authors - Israel Regardie. It's a long time since I read his books, so I can't think of one to recommend. He writes about ritual magic and the Kabbalah among other things.

www.pdf-search-engine.com...

There are two reasons I am not putting all the links in one post. First, I am terrified of messing them up. Second, I'm hoping to give the thread a little bump.

goal = increase knowledge

integrity = compliance with the facts

a paradox buried within the human endeavor

fear is a tool that allows for comprehension of individuality
look closely at humanity and individuality ...

how do people judge reality?

What is the opposite of love?
majority of responses i get back is : hate

how can one hate without first fearing that which is hated has the potential and/or intentions of taking from you that which you love?

does fear not pre-empt hate when you hate, are angered, or ragefull?

perhaps fear pre-empts hate.

i'm going to ask you to make a list of the things you fear losing the most in life. be honest, no reason to decieve yourself, just do it privatley.

after you make a list of the things you fear losing the most in life, then make a list of the things you love the most in life.

if these lists coincide with one another, if the list resemble one another, might i suggest you are allowing fear to define for you what you love?

fear was present before hate
fear was present before anger
fear was present before rage
fear was present before love?

there at the cellular level, the instinct of "self pre-serve" aka "self before service" .... could fear have came from this ? ..... eons of evollution, fear in every cell of my being? .....

if the observer chooses to draw one breath, or take one step, or spend just one moment without fear ....

if the observer chooses to be compliant with the facts ....

if the observer chooses to be the equivalent to truth ....

observer = truth / compliant with the facts

how can the truth fear the truth and remain intact?????

truth fear truth?

if the observer is equivalent to the truth then ....
how can the truth fear the truth and remain intact?

so ... logically if one is permitting inherant and adopted fears of others to decide for it how to interprett reality .... how can the individual, the observer, the truth, fear at all and stay intact?

but .... logically if one is capable of removing and de-prorgamming fear ... at the cellular level could the instincts for reproduction and continuation exist at all?

i say yes, then again ... i think if you permit fear to define what love is for you, you deprive yourself of knowing love.

fear doesn't define love, no more than the truth can fear the truth and remain intact.

i fully support free will, i also fully support informed decision making.

The book is a collection of strategies and philosophies from a wide and varied range of figures from history , Sun Tzu , Talleyrand , Machiavelli and others.

Certainly thought provoking .

I'd like to mention Russ Kick's website The Memory Hole. Unfortunately, when I googled it I got a message from Google warning me of malware. Here's a Wiki article about him. There were other links I could provide to him, but that warning worried me.
