But this is very common in Islam. So what can we do about it?
1. Use our voices to urge Muslims to condemn this practice and reform Sharia Law.

2. Keep these stories in the media

3. Encourage media to print the truth about Islam and items like this... of course they will use taqiyya to distract from these issues, but be persistant.

4. Educate the American public about Sharia Law and that 10 year olds are being forced into arranged marriages.

5. Read and research. There are many many instances in Islam that are unacceptable.

6. Also understand that the people doing this are not dumb tribal uneducated people. These are normal moderate muslims!!!

Many of the people you see in political positions on the TV from the Islamic nations ARE moderates the way that we describe moderates here. People who aren't extreme in the national political system. They are somewhere in the middle of the national political system

They use moderate to mean "friendly to the West." This is worth remembering when reading their descriptions about politicians. That is ALL it means.

When you hear "moderate" Muslim, The President of Iran IS a moderate Muslim. The King of Saud if a VERY moderate Muslim. The parliament of Jordan is highly moderate, and they voted down laws to curb honour killings because it would encourage lascivious behaviour.

Now that you know where moderate lies on the spectrum, you can make a better judgement call on exactly what you are being asked to accomodate.

YES! The moderates you describes are responsible for this marriage, for lawful beheadings, for hanging homosexuals, for killing Christians like Neda, for beating women for wearing pants as lawful penalty. YES, these are moderate muslims. They might be friendly to the West but they still go by the rules and laws of Islam.

This is common in Islam and is enforced by law.

When you see in these stories that somenoe is from Yemen, or Saudi Arabia, or Iraq, or Afghanistan it will often be proceeded by people commenting on how this is a think in such and such country.

Borders matter very little in the Islamic nations. Girls and women are sold/married off across borders all the time. A man might have wives, and therefore children who are part of many other countries in one family.

Do you see that men are arguing that this is against Sharia, because Sharia doesn't stipulate a minimum age.

Do you understand what that means?

It means that decency, moderation, minimum standards of accepable behaviour, are all dictated SOLELY by Sharia.

That if something is not SPECIFICALLY spelled out as wrong, it is right.

Indeed, they are correct in their interpretation. Their prophet specifically took a bride who was a child.

That in these cases parents KNOW that it is wrong, that is why they extract a promise on behalf of these men to stall having sex with their daughters. However, if they guy just lies (and they all do) there is no recourse. Indeed, if the girl leaves or complains she is the bad one.

Sharia is the only source of all laws and decency. If it dosen't say it there, it doesn't matter.

Look at the story linked to this one of Nujood - where the man who beat and raped her after she was married to him at TEN years old....he wasn't prosecuted. When she divorced him, he was COMPENSATED.

HE is the victim of a horrible little ten year old wife.

I wouldn't doubt that the Yale student was murdered because she was going to marry a white non-muslim. Of course MSM won't pick this up, same as they didn't pick up the Beltway killers being on a mission of Islam, Johnny Walker Lindh and his mission to Afghanistan to join AQ, and many other terrorism plots in the US that are committed by muslims.

The VT killer came from a muslim area of China... yet no MSM picked that up either. He had two suite neighbors that were muslims too.

This is not going away.

When Islam is directly connected to acts now, it is being suppressed.

Here's an example - The Greyhound Beheader was talking about Allah. That fact was stomped on right away, and any mention about it after that referenced that he was talking about God. While not a lie, the implication sure is.

I remember a case of fact suppression of news first hand. When I was working is publishing here in Canada in 1989, writer friends told me editors had ixnayed a certain aspect of a big story.

A 25 year old Marc Lepine walked into a Polytechnic school in Montreal, cleared out men from a classroom, and with a semi-automatic rifle proceeded to coldly murder 14 women - then himself. The largest massacre in Canadian history.

Played up in the news was the anti-feminist aspect of the sotry. Not to be discussed was that his real name was Gamil Rodrigue Gharbi. His father was a strict Muslim Algerian immigrant with a history of violent abuse and to his wife and children.
