Hey all

Now a couple of nights ago, I started feeling really sick-----
All the symptoms of flu.

Shivering one minute, and then burning up the next.
Sore throat.
Thumping headache---felt like I'd been hit with a sledgehammer !!
No energy.
Felt really weak and lethargic.

Went to bed and I used the mindset that has served me so well for the past 6 years.----I ain't real and therefore sickness cannot be real.

Woke up the following morning feeling absolutely 100% fit---back to normal.

Now I have'nt had any illnesses since using this mindset, not even a cold. The last time I was ill was 2003.

I have stopped believing in sickness---it does'nt exist. It only exists if you believe it does, and then somehow you manifest it into reality.

Has this worked for anyone else on here ??

The mind is a powerful thing. How come everytime I think about the man who broke my heart I feel sick to my stomach and want to throw up? Not really sick, but I still feel sick.

i think u've just been avoiding getting sick and/or ur immune system got better?

I wouldn't call sickness an illusion but can admit that the mind can heal in certain ways.
I have healed cuts that needed stitches in 4 days before and people were witness to it.
I recently thought I cracked a bone in my hand(sunday afternoon)
It was swollen and I couldn't use it.
By ignoring it altogether and trying to use it anyways,I am now using it fully and the swelling has gone down.
It feels ok again.
The mind is very powerful when you believe in it.

You're right, the mind certainly is a powerful thing.

I'm sure there really is something to this mindset thing, if you deny the existence of sickness it is unable to manifest itself !

In your case, your sick feeling affects you due to the mental thoughts you have re: the man who broke your heart.
You now are in the mindset that every time you visualise him, you are going to feel physically sick.
So you do.

Its a possibility, but highly unlikely.
6 years is a long time to avoid things such as even a common cold.
I have been in close proximity as well with people with influenza on many occasions during that 6 yrs.

Not even a sniffle

I believe the symptoms only manifested themselves the other night because I had been posting earlier on swine flu threads !!
It entered my mind and started to manifest itself.

This is obviously how faith healers operate and some are so successful.
They just tap in to the power of the mind----
I can heal and therefore I do heal !!

Several years ago I visited a church I called a name it and claim it church.

If one was ill then they would not claim the illness.

If one was in need of financial help then they named the need and claimed it.

We all know the mind is a very powerful part of our bodies.

I was diagnosed with that darn kidney failure and a solid mass on my right kidney as you know.

I had an MRI done and now there was no sign of the kidney mass. I saw it on the sonogram and so did my daughter. It's not there now.

After being in shock after being told I need a kidney transplant I have changed my diet and begun positive thoughts.

I feel better. I will have surgery this coming Monday for the plumbing in my arm for dialysis.

It is my belief that after a time my kidneys will heal themselves.

I am using my mind to heal myself. God gave us a divine tool, the brain, to use.

I am happy for you, my friend, that you have tapped into your mind. May you continue to stay healthy and happy.

Maybe its the same with aging?

Yes---I really believe it's feasible to develop the mindset and belief to either stop ageing or reverse it .
