New picture uploads not showing up

First off I am a long time roamer and semi-frequent poster of the site and it took me quite some time to finally acheive the avatar status that I had wanted, as well as participating in some of the best forum subjects on the web!


My question is, I know the pictures are now hosted differently and they have to be uploaded again to which I have done, however after I have uploaded my avatar picture, and set it to my avatar picture, it still does not appear on any of my new posts, why?

Am I doing something else wrong?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

This is the image you would like as you avatar, right?

files.abovetopsecret.com...

Your avatar image is still pointing to i5.photobucket.com...

You need to go to your ATS Account Settings via your Member Tools (see top menu) and change your avatar URL to files.abovetopsecret.com... ... and click on the Submit button.

Just be sure to resize it properly.

Wow, such a simple fix, thank you very much. You can delete this thread as to avoid clutter.

Thanks for the FAQ as well, I didn't see that on the first search through ATS.

You can find the avatar size guidelines here, but yours is fine, so don't worry about it.

I'll leave the thread up for future "My avatar isn't showing" searches for other members.
