Internet service providers (ISPs) have reacted with anger to new proposals on how to tackle internet piracy.



UK ISP Talk Talk said the recommendations were likely to "breach fundamental rights" and would not work.

Is this the case?

Or do the ISP's simply not want to lose their customers and thus their money?

Well they are slightly different issues - the thread you linked is just about the proposed cutting off the net to file shares - the OP's topic is on the ISP's getting angry over it.
