BTS 2009 NFL Predictions Contest

Can you defeat the Staff Experts?

Here's your chance members! A season long contest with two ways to win!

Each week one staff member will select their picks on the week's games and take on all members..

Do you have what it takes?

Two ways to win



Weekly Winners: Each week the member/s(who outpick the staff), with the most correct picks, will be awarded 1000BTS points and every other member (who outpicks the staff) will also recieve 500BTS points!!


In addition to the weekly awards, there will be an end of season award to the top three members with the highest total of correct picks..

Season Winners: Grand Prize for Member Who has the Most Total Correct Picks for the Season 25,000 BTS points 2nd Place will receive 15,000 BTS points and 3rd Place will receive 10,000 BTS points!!

Members need not participate every week to win the season ending prize, though your chances increase if you do

Make sure you hit PREVIEW to make sure that all of your picks have been selected, once you have made sure your picks are there, go ahead and post it, and that's your entry for the week

member edits for errors are allowed until the day prior to the week's first game


Weekly entry closing:

Take notice of the first game of the week, all entries must pe posted one hour prior to the beginning of that week's first game starting time, in the above example, it would close 6:00PM EST THU AUG 27.


No Points Spread

For simplicity, this contest is simply picking the winner of each game no points spread are used and no total points for the Monday nights games will be used, this is fun..

Weekly ties?

In the case of ties for the best record of the week, all who sport the most correct picks will be awarded the weekly winners award, however, the challenge for the members is to beat the staff, should there be a tie.. staff wins

Weekly results will be posted on Tuesdays.

Season Winners

Since it is unlikely that the members could defeat the staff experts in the long season, the staff record will not count towards the season standings in regards to the points prize. They will count towards bragging rights.

The cumulative correct pick totals will be posted each Tuesday so we all know where we stand.

Who is eligible?

All members to include writers, fighters, scholars and FSME's are eligible for the contest prizes

Owners Admin SuperMods and Mods are ineligible for points prizes.

Trash Talking and Questions



A little trash talking is to be expected but please keep it clean, T&C's still apply, this is supposed to be a fun contest let's keep it that way. In addition, this thread will be strictly for the picks and results, for trash talking, questions etc. please use the accompanied discussion thread for those conversations
