to him.
"Hope and Change."
What is that supposed to mean? How shallow.
Hitlers message was not "Hope and change", it was "lets run roughshod over inferior peoples with our invincible military".
I get really sick of this kind of crap. You have the historical understanding of a gnat. As i saiod, you insult the 50 million who died in the
war. disgraceful.

I do not think that what was meant by the poster.
People throughout history always look for hope and change. People can be deceived. And people have always died fighting against dictatorships.
And we still do to this very day.

And the same approach was taken (actually pre-dating) in USSR. Also organized crowds, lots of flags, picture of leaders in every corner, uniforms...
So if there would be a similar regime it would start from those little things. Like now in N.Korea for example. Until i see similar groups marching in
the streets of US (or Russian federation,or EU) all the cries about new tyranny are a little off. Maybe it is positive though - it might prevent
similar "uniform" world. And maybe those movements are being used by someone to bring this world back.
Anyway - eagle symbol is not hundreds years old. Thousands, actually. Roman eagle is source for German, Russian, American and all the others.
Edit. wrong word.

Kinda scary. I often wonder if this is how it started back then.

The photos are the best i´ ve seen yet.
Today it almost seems impossible that one political leader can have so much influence on people, but Hitler did - and gave them a vision of strong
nation, also work for everybody. Just remember the building of the german highways. The people did not realize that the only reason for all that stuff
was a war in the end, maybe some people had a idea, but who dared to criticize? Look at all the smiling faces on the pictures - one leader, one nation
- what was wrong about that?
Everything, from the beginning until the cruel end.
Think for yourself, or somebody else will do that job.
Greetings from Germany,
Fairlane

"Strength through unity, unity through faith" If he didn't have so many followers that had faith in him, and his veiw, that would not have worked.
That is what fascism looks like. What he did looks amazing through the pictures though, he gained followers, and controlled them very well. Only if
that controll would have been toward good.

I recently watched one of Hitler's old speeches on video.google.com before he became the leader, and he kept screaming change every 2 to 3 minutes,
and although he never changed 'yes we can' he did love to say We can do it! over and over as a chant almost.
It was quite scary how close our own politicians are, and the mass adulation obama got was scary enough for me.
you can find a lot of old speeches on video.google.com full length.
Anyhow awesome pictures, downloaded those just in case they ever disappear.
thanks!
