Audas, you are the one associating people with Nazism, inappropriately at that, I might add. I am sure that we all are glad you have study the Nazi rise to power. Those Who Forget History Are Doomed to Repeat It. One would do well to look to the past to ensure it doesn't ever get repeated. There are troubling signs that have cropped up. I don't think anyone here thinks that we are going to witness the Fourth Reich in America. We are drifting towards places where we, as a society, have not drifted before. There are methods being employed that, quite honestly, I find disturbing. Staged town halls, ramrodding major legislation through without real debate, shutting out the opposition from any meaningful role in government, semi-nationalization of key industries and ignoring or giving a nod and wink to physically roughing up political opponents are troubling to me and quite a few others. These are real concerns and they need to be seriously addressed. Both sides are getting more extreme/entrenched, that doesn't bode well.

You are kind of personally attacking/insulting people in this thread, lately, IMO. I would suggest a cooling off period, lest it get out of hand. Things have gotten heated and it would be wise to take a break sometimes.

You don't have to take responsibility, obviously you didn't do it (I hope!). Have no fear, I squarely put the blame on the idiots who do the physical violence, and I will do so, regardless of their political leanings either way. You "could" condemn the use of physical attacks against another for their political views however."Understanding" why someone would resort to physical violence in a political debate worries me. There should be no need to resort to that.

I hate to see every single time people comparing a socialist reform bill to Nazi Germany. *sigh*.

I live in Israel, and in my country we have a universal health care which is considered number 28th for one of the best in the world.
Sure, we pay for insurance, but the government stay out of our way, and they don't tell you which treatment you will or will not recieve. Meaning, if you go and see a doctor, emergency room etc, you won't pay a dime. No question.

Now, I read the Obama health care bill. It's not a good bill, and it's not a very good health care system they want to install.
May I remind everyone that this bill is like a thousand pages long, it took a considerable amount of time of a lot of people to get it to Congress. Obviously, the powers that be have been planning on pushing this bill for a lot of time now. And sure enough, their main part of their agenda is to expand government control and power.

I do believe America should and MUST have a some kind of a universal health care, one that WORKS. I believe every citizen should be able to go to a doctor without emptying their children's college funds to do so.

Secondly I have never doubted the use of despotic tactics, especially in the latter stages of Nazism - and what you are mentioning here is the latter stage -
