Owls? weird, In my humble, research of native americans culture.

An arrow fletched with owl feathers is meant for a person!
I never seen or heard or there being any connection between aliens, abductions, or sightings that have ever mentioned owls?
I have only read a few thousand accounts, maybe I missed something.

Owls are damn freaky. A long time ago I was in a field late one night, I forget where, right by some trees. Suddenly this head turned around and looked right at me. It was only a few feet away. I hadn't even noticed it was there until that point. Scared the crap out of me

They also always look like they're extremely angry at you. Evil little buggers, I say.

That is strange, I haven't read much into abductions but I have heard of the owl connection. I've always assumed that it was the closest "face" that a person can link the classic alien grey face too. Nothing to do with what the owl represents mythologically but its actual shape of an owl face/eyes.

Because I have no idea what you meant by that. I watched a trailer about alien abduction and owls. I see no connection to communion that I am aware of, and that it why I tried looking it up.

But as you can see, there are many different definitions to "communion."

The trailer looks good. Here's hoping it don't turn out to be a Hollywoodized 'The Blair Alien Project' based on already discredited cases. You can keep those fingers crossed but it ain't gonna do no good.

The one fake site mentioned at the end of the trailer was www.maar.com. Guess what! It's a manga site. Lots and lots of laughs. Sorry, I meant the one site I could make out. I hate lettering on black unless its large enough to read and it's white.

I think, like Dae, the 'owl' link is meant to be a visual one? The idea being that when people encounter something shocking they can't fit into their experience, they try to find a close fit to calm themselves. A form of mental protection.

I seem to remember lots of accounts where animals appear. Lost time in cars being linked to deer surrounding the vehicle. Owls or cats staring in windows. That kind of thing.
