Is your family coming back to you? Or is this a permanent thing?

I have a friend who has lived alone for 20 years. She loves it.

For me it would not be a happy existence. I never have liked living alone.

Let me know how you are.

You're right dizzie---the key to this is if its a permanent thing or just a holiday

If its just a holiday, then life as normal will be resumed after the break.
If its permanent, then its a complete lifeshock .
Really we need to know ??

And yeah, everyone is different.
I'm the opposite to you cos I can't wait to live alone. It's what's keeping me going at the moment.
I will never ever ever get married again---I've hated it !!!
My great escape is underway

It is strange how we become accustomed to loved ones around
us. Then, when they're not there... we realise that the person we
were before you met said loved ones had slipped away in the
night, leaving you, the guy you are today.

So the 'latest' you stares around bleakly and wonders what to
make of it all and yet, the 'old' you would have nodded and gone
on do what you would have considered normal to do back then.

We acclimatise, we go on and we endure... words from my father.
