Have you heard this one?
Working class zero.

Working class zero
It happened to me
I thought of us - of what to be

You always were better
Not careless - not free
And then you end up like me

A lot of pain at the factory
And now it hurts when you wake up
Endless life - all hope is gone

End this life

A working class zero
Is something to be
If all is gone and death you see

The Poison inside Us
Is spread by our own needs
A future set to my defeat

And now they laugh at the factory
And lot of pain when you wake up
It's your life - there's just escape
You must try

Working class zero
Your mama still cries
She thinks of you
Of how you died

You always were better
Got careless - then free
And in the end you lost like me

Lucifer over London
There's a - Lucifer over London

[2x]
And six six six
It makes me sick
I'm sick sick sick
Of 666

[Continue while fading out]
Lucifer over London
There's a - Lucifer over London

Kinda sad that power metal and wanky prog bands are the ones that deal with conspiracies. You'd think something so sadistic would have some brvtal riffage.

This video is awesome! As are the lyrics. Check the author's comments.

Good stuff!

Cinema, simulated life, ill drama
Fourth reich culture, Americana
Chained to the dream they got ya searchin for
The thin line between entertainment and war

I think there was a thread just like this a few weeks ago, but maybe that was more a "soundtrack for the revolution" or something like that.

Anyway, I posted these guys in that thread, and I'll post them here too. I heart them.

... As I continue to blame the Knight's Templar and the Hospitallers
the real reason New York lost their towers.

Don't sit back
or hesitate to react
to the impact
many takin' a nap
in fact they would fake an attack
to make way for the Patriot Act ...

More of their songs can be found here: Conspirituality MySpace

They are spiritual conspiracy theorists.

(Edited to add some lyrics, too difficult to transcribe...)

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, haven't had time to read through the thread. There are a lot of rappers with songs about politics, corruption and some conspiracy elements.

Check out Jedi Mind Tricks, Immortal Technique, Stream of Consciousness (www.myspace.com... Freedom Without Money is great). There's probably more out there but those are the main rappers I listen to.

OH MY GOD, no one here listens to LEFTOVER CRACK! SHAME! shame! shame, and more shame!

super tuesday: (or "9/11")

It ain't a mystery, that US History
Was built upon the graves
Of native ways and beaten slaves
Yeah, we're all free and brave
until we misbehave
and there's just no escape
from the crushing weight
of the police state

[Chorus:]
Two towers falling down
I'll be at zero ground
We're flying friendly skies
Until the city dies
And you don't want to see
Through human history,
Empires will always fall
This is the final call

[Spoken:]
the world bank and the IMF have created a system of modern-day colonialism
to make the people in the developing world poorer,
and the multinational corporations richer,
and take the power away from all of us
it's time to take back control of our lives
and tear apart these monuments to greed
and build our new world from the broken pieces

I pledge allegiance to no flag
Top the bottle with an oily rag
we're building up an army fast
to destroy the pigs and break the upper class
I'm only one
This is my voice
But you're gonna have to make a choice
I don't care if you disagree
'cause this #in' thing
It means the whole world to me!

We won't be hypnotized, by all the media lies
it's time the truth is told
when you're sick to death of being bought and sold
our freedom's been misplaced
# that, it's been erased,
the world's our shooting range,
I'm gonna spare some change
To bomb the stock exchange

[Spoken:]
these skewed development policies kill people every day
and keep us so hypnotized that even though it's right in front of our eyes, we don't see it...
world trade is a death machine.

[Chorus 2x]

CLEAR CHANNEL F@#$ OFF:

The Sovereign Insincerity The monopoly of greed
Nickelback, POD, Rancid, Britany and Creed
The Bureaucrats they leech upon to mediocre trends
Your song in heavy rotation from the cash your label spends
From the products you promote for the ones who foot the bill
A Prefabricated goose-step for the pockets that you fill
The monotony of censored products shine in the display
The same old song of compromise went platinum today.

From town to town and state to state
The same old song you love to hate
The same # stacked upon your plate
rotate again and syndicate
We've been waiting far too long
too change the band, too change the song
through every day and dusk and dawn
We've been brain-washed to sing along
No difference between the hot new single
and the Pepsi ads commercial jingle
The beauty's withered faded crinkle
Just sip the coke and pop the pringle
The boardroom is the dragons lair
They play us # 'cuz they don't care
The clearest channel plays unfair
and we all want you off the air
Overdose on shoddy culture; mediocre trends
Auto-Tune the bottom line as a mean to meet the ends
Merging corporate empires create the ill conglomerations
and buy up to reprogram major market radio stations

Fabricate one single voice broadcast from sea to sea
What once held notions of change and choice
is now being controlled fully
Deregulations raised the edge of expolitations bar
Politics replaced by "bling" and clothes and fancy cars
Trapped imaginations from the video's blinding light
Bombarded with monotony that captivates the sight

The channel we've been tuned to is all frigid, blank and clear
Told what to eat and drink and buy and whom to hate and fear
Poisoned by the fairy-tale, A capitalistic dream
Go to sleep, You're free and brave, and on the winning team

No way to die!!!! [3x]

[Spoken outro:]
We figured out a long time ago that it's much easier to control people
when we're all watching the same T.V. shows,
Listening to the same radio stations, going to the same movies,
looking at the same billboards, eating the same food,
And speaking the same language...

Dream Theater? Nooooooooooooo !

i don't have 3 hours to listen to one song!

underground punk seems to be where its at - in the UK at least anyway. And you can hear the words more than in metal tunes

also check out Harijan - we did a split CD with these guys, they're some of the most awake people I know.

Awesome tunes too! Shame they don't have more on the tinterweb page there...

I second the Nooooooo to dream theater. While I can appreciate their talent and creativity, there is only so many times you can listen to them with out getting sick of it. Unfortunately it didn't take as long for me as it did my ex.

Underground punk! Yup, that's what I listen too. Have any good bands you can turn me onto?

Most of the bands i listen to where around in the late 80's to the late 90's Most are still producing new music but it would be nice to here a few newer bands.

Queensryche - Revolution calling
For a price I'd do about anything
Except pull the trigger
For that I'd need a pretty good cause
Then I heard of Dr. X
The man with the cure
Just watch the television
Yeah, you'll see there's something going on

Got no love for politicians
Or that crazy scene in D.C.
It's just a power mad town
But the time is ripe for changes
There's a growing feeling
That taking a chance on a new kind of vision is due

I used to trust the media
To tell me the truth, tell us the truth
But now I've seen the payoffs
Everywhere I look
Who do you trust when everyone's a crook?

Revolution calling
Revolution calling
Revolution calling you
[There's a] Revolution calling
Revolution calling
Gotta make a change
Gotta push, gotta push it on through

I'm tired of all this bull#
They keep selling me on T.V.
About the communist plan
And all the shady preachers
Begging for my cash
Swiss bank accounts while giving their
Secretaries the slam

They're all in Penthouse now
Or Playboy magazine, million dollar stories to tell
I guess Warhol wasn't wrong
Fame fifteen minutes long
Everyone's using everybody, making the sale

I used to think
That only America's way, way was right
But now the holy dollar rules everybody's lives
Gotta make a million doesn't matter who dies

Revolution calling
Revolution calling
Revolution calling you
[There's a] Revolution calling
Revolution calling
Gotta make a change
Gotta push, gotta push it on through

I used to trust the media
To tell me the truth, tell us the truth
But now I've seen the payoffs
Everywhere I look
Who do you trust when everyone's a crook?

Revolution calling
Revolution calling
Revolution calling you
[There's a] Revolution calling
Revolution calling
Gotta make a change
Gotta push, gotta push it on through

There's a lot of music I like that could be classed as waking people up/conspiracy oriented, much of it is Rap. Here are a couple of ones I consider great:

Phi-Life Cypher - Bomb Propaganda

talking:
Gonna give them some reality now.
Anyone heard of the track "Bomb Propaganda"?
Check this out
You watch too much TV, and read too many newspapers, don't believe what's going on

rapping:
I want some truth to be told because I'm fed up of the lies
So much corruption by so many demons in disguise
Governmental untruths are on the rise it's no surprise
Even when they are exposed they still deny
They got so much to say, but yet so much to hide
I'm trying to clock your intelligence like soviet spies
Professional lies, that's what politicians devise
They wanna see the Muslim religion, on the demise
I know they're all about division, so they try to divide
Slowly but surely, adding bad vibes to our lives
Trying to control peoples minds, with doubts and fears
Now a terrorist is anyone who's brown with a beard
Born in Britain but I know they'd like me out of here
They vision me in Africa running round with a spear
Plate in my lip
The system, when they look at me like
They see another n*gger from the unga bunga tribe
"Without them black people would be uncivilized
The truth is without them we'd have much richer lives"
But blacks are not the only people that they criticize
The Muslim is not the only religion that they despise
They claim to be Christians, with a passion of Christ
They're really Lucifer's lieutenants, anti-christs and parasites
I raise the temperature to 9/11 Fahrenheit
Life I keep talking, but you can't hold me back on the Mic
If you're oppressed, under attack, I got your back on the Mic
But I'm not representing you if you smoke crack in the pipe
Jacking the smack, sit in a flat, chasing the dragon all night
I'm not trying to smoke nothing that would damage my mind
I wanna keep my vision clear, so I can see up ahead
They're trying to trap me in the system, time to free up the dread
Ya hear me?

Life, I'm not a gullible follower, media believer
Looking way beyond the shallow reports of a newsreader
Allegations with no proof, the type of news that they read you
Propaganda feeders, they're the threat, not al-qaeda
They tell you bin-laden's the leader of a terrorist group
What they fail to tell you is they never tell you the truth
I'm not talking politics like I got something to prove
Just effects me everyday, so I got nothing to lose.
If I got something on my chest, I get it off in the booth
I'm trying to crush the negative, by making positive moves
But when I travel, I make sure I don't trip up in the Tube
In case they shoot me, with excuse I had a bomb in my shoe
Big Brothers watching you, life will be twice as hard
Once they finish scaring you until you carry an ID card
Next it's a jacking device that they put in your car
Not for your security, it's so they know where you are.
THEY GOING TOO FAR!
Making you think, these things you need
Privacy's a thing of the past, like living for free
Feds killing innocent victims with shots to the head
Pop them with lead, cause they don't give a F*ck if you dead
Bunch of Mason racists, Muslim haters, and dictators
Wolves with sheep's faces who creating unrest
It's a public and the last, with us incurring the cost
Now they got the confused and the lost burning up mosques
The government has secret agendas, that's why they lie
Racial tension, I should mention, Is at an all time high
And the G8 conference, it seemed to pass right by
I can't believe it's co-incidence, as hard as I try
It's hard to deny facts, but I ain't seen none yet
Some "Bomb Propaganda" on my TV set
Ya hear me?

I guess there are also these songs. Two of them dealing with 2012 and one obviously dealing with the new world order.

Three Days in Darkness - Testament :

Incubus - A Certain Shade of Green:

The New Order - Testament:

Oh hey, have some alien conspiracy ones too:
Roswell '47 - Hypocrisy:

DJ Teebee - Stolen Documents:

Astral Projection - Searching for UFOs:

...And a personal favourite, Cosmos - Portal (Well, this song was made when Cynic had become Portal and recorded demos with Aruna Abrams). I could only find a live vid, though, where Paul Masvidal emulates T-Pain. Great song, though:

Something about Roswell '47.

Okay, you see, this is what I'm on about! Why not put such a song-title to an actually marketable theme?

Yeah, the metal guys tend to take on more meaningful and DIRECT approach to their material. But there are a few problems with it. 1) They completely overkill their literary concepts with blast-beats and droning riffs. To the point that most people who listen to their stuff just awe at the drummer's ability to keep time and the guitarist's speed.
2) Their creative ability in general is questionable BECAUSE of number one. They are polishing a turd and hoping it shines like a diamond.

They aren't reaching anyone.
