Tongues of Angels

Hello All

In 1 Corinthians 13:1

Paul writes about speaking inthe tongues of men and the tongues of angels.

1 Cor 13:1 KJV

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

the angels here is aggelos meaning messenger sent from God.

what kind of tongue would angels speak to each other?
has anyone heard angels in their own language? How would i recognise it?

any comments or thoughts?

I don't think we know but we do know that it's another language.

I've never heard angels speak in their own language but I have heard people speaking in tongues which Paul says is the tongues of angels.

I do know that during a deliverance service the deliver was prompted by God to speak in tongues outloud. The evil spirit told the deliver to shut up because he sounded like an angel. The deliver was Win Worley.

Arthur Wallis speaks of the same thing also in his book, "Pray in the Spirit".

Another instance is where a Catholic Priest was in a deliverance session and the Spirit of God came over him and he started speaking in tongues and the evil spirit got out of there as fast as he could. Here's the link for that:

Paul was obviously asking a rhetorical question.

angels speak from the truth
thats their language
and difficult to understand
because they bring mental war
that's why most do not recognise them.

God is one

Good one, I have the answer through a book about saints. i forgot which book but it is said that angels speak to each other without words.

It's a spiritual mental communication that doesn't involve words sort of like animals.

Which i believe we will experinece afterdeath, the ultimate simplicity.

I do not believe that Paul was using Rhetoric. neither was he saying that the angels speak in truth.

The reason is that the first verse says he talks with tongues of men. to say that the tongue of an angel is truth, would be saying that the tongues of men is untruth. That being, paul, is saying he speaks truth and untruth, this is not the case. so i reject that theory.

as for tongues in the church they are only spoken aloud if another can interpret. I hope the charismatics can read the following

1 Corinthians 14:27-28

If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.

28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

if you reject that fast,
you will reject that what you want, the day it stands before you.

truth is not made to be easy found before you shared in care,
thats why it is hidden
and it is this hidden thing,
that makes an angels tongue

angels do speak as humans,
because when a human speaks from truth
he speaks from the spirit = truth
and he gives you a message
and that message is brought by a messenger
and that is an angel

interpretation is not always there
so the angels communicates further with truth, god,
because the rest is not ready to hear..
and he still is evolving to bring god
back to us... god comes down to earth,
and makes it heaven, not the other way around,
and his way is by his sons, truth comes down
by angel tongues.

not everything was made to be understood for all
yet.
