This reminded me of a conversation I had one day where the person said "Satan placed Dinosaur bones in the ground to make men think evolution was real!".

I mean, what do you say to that?

functionaly , most of the people who seek "proof" are not capable of understanding proof , much less recognising it .

the thing they can understand , and recognise . artifacts which are not other wise explain'd .

much of what I see requires more than a sound bite , and can't be understood with a camara shot and a good narrator .

I think this series is a good place for thinking thinkers to start with , but for those that scream of proof , its just a place for them to whine and rant .

note that japan and sanfransisco are where they are as much because of geography as history

but new york and europe have common forces placeing them where they are .

Ive read Chariots of the Gods and I would have to agree with some of you out there that there isnt much evidence to support Daniken's claims. But what it did for me was to think out of the box and not just follow the beliefs of the evidence that are out there today. There are too many unanswered questions that makes you wonder if there could have been ancient aliens that have guided us since the birth of man. Hell, we may even be in some way, shape or form related to these aliens. All Im saying is read the book and open your eyes to other possibilities and draw your own conclusion.

Just imagine if religion isn't involved in reviewing historical documents and with a open mind, the things you will learn.

The suggestion that there was light-bulb technology available to the ancient egyptians was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the videos - especially Part 7 and 8.

I too had read Chariots of the gods ans similar books. It is thought provoking. Even if you cannot agree with everything, surely some of it will open one's eyes to a different perspective. Very intriguing!!!!!

Furthermore, who cares if Danniken was convicted of fraud?!

Does his conviction or lack of judgement change the fact that Ezekiel claimed to witness "A shield within a shield ,flying through the air, moving in all manner of ways as if it were always moving forward, without turning?"
Or that Alexander the Great claimed to have seen a "flying shield" tormenting his troops? To the point that his troops tried firing arrows at it?!

I agree, it was an eye-opener for me as well. He presents a very good case for the ancient civilizations/aliens connection. I think either you have your mind open to new and different possibilities than what you were taught growing up, or you don't.

I read Chariots of the Gods but you can rent it, the visual is fantastic if you want to go that route first before reading the book. I think I have Ancient Aliens in my Netflix queue.

Man was very technologically progressed before our civilization, and then we caused massive catastrophe(the flood) and its all buried deep deep below, with some things reaching the surface for proof.

Basically we had weapons more powerful and destructive than what we have today. Most of it is unknown to us.

Although there could have been some ET involvement i dont think it was a massive collaborative ET effort but rather humans gaining a bit more knowledge about technology through them. Kinda like the theory that we got all our fiber optics and transistors from ET tech.
