hey, you are right,
the that is almost complete, but not yet.

he didn't hide for us,
he hided for himself
he is logic
so there was a time of symbols and fairytales
then there came a time of logic
to integrate god into logic in this world
that is the paradox

god did not hide for us,
he hid for himself.

Well, god is not dual, he is good, perfect,
to be more then source, more then everything,
to be free, he needed logic to comply with him
thats why we live for his glory
when we make truth our part we are more from him
ignorance is opposte
hate is good when it is used to learn,
not when it is used to ignore.

do not let yourself turn away from truth,
people like to test god, truth
and it is allowed,
but choice is how much motivation, they really want to see ?
difference between testing and seducing truth.

Can you perhaps imagine that something(s) horrible might have happened to those who rape, molest, etc.? Compassion is worth more than gold and it's a lot rarer as well. Now that you have compassion for the obvious victim, look at the other side and see that the perpetrator is also very likely a victim in his own way.

By far, those aren't nearly the worst things that can happen to a person. Death would be welcome and preferred compared to some of the stuff you catch sight of in the papers. Unimaginable cruelty.
Those things are the things from which you never recover. Recovery from rape and molestation is a choice.

Being a victim of anything is a choice. You must choose to carry that memory above you and have it cast its shadow on all else in life. That's a choice. You can equally learn from the experience (yes, it truly is just another of life's experiences) and move on with knowledge and the ability to prepare should you find yourself in equally threatening circumstances. It's the people who don't move on with the lesson from the event that suffer. It's all about perspective. And this is why our superficial, knee-jerk reactions to events are inevitably wrong. Those "unfortunate" events, no matter how painful at the time, can only make us stronger if we focus our awareness toward the best outcome.

No lesson is unworthy of learning. Experience exists, like consciousness, on many levels. You seem to suffer greatly for the plight of others. I'm sure that you would cry your eyes out if I were to recount the story of my life to you. Isn't that ironic? But I'm not crying. What would be the point? What would I gain by suffering over and over events that have long since passed? How would I grow if I'm crushed under the weight of my own experiences? How could I live in the next moment when I'm stuck in the past? I disagree with your assertion that one dies - or even that a part of one dies - when subjected to such "crimes". It's unpleasant, to be sure, but nothing lasts forever. Nothing. When such things happen, we choose to react in a particular way. We don't have to traumatized. We can just grow instead.

When children are little, they fall down a lot. If the adults around them react with fear and panic when this happens, the child will learn that fear and panic, and they will cry at the smallest stumble or bump. But if the child learns that it's normal to fall, that it's okay to scrape their knees and fall into mud puddles and break their arms from falling out of trees, then life's experiences serve an entirely different lesson, don't they? Life blossoms. The child blossoms into an adult who isn't afraid of the occasional knock or stumble or fracture. The other child fears his own shadow. This is why I encouraged you to go out and help those in need. Don't suffer or bleed for them. Help them up and onward. Help yourself beyond your own fears too. Life isn't so bad even when it's bad.

It happens.

it happens,
but it happens for a reason,
did you learn the reason yet ?
then you are not ready yet
not done yet,
truth, care does not want you to stop caring
until you see it's good.

truth does not wait forever,
it wants you to understand
and it is cross = care
that brings you there

first as a teamwork, over hundreds of years
but once, now in persons because truth is full
logic is done, ready.

thats what i mean, i dont want to be rude,
but god is rude no ? truth is rude no ?
life is very rude ? very painfull,
but it loves you, thats why god allows himself to
have pain, for himself.

your sincerity,it shines w/ civility.the only reason i tried to answer the
part of it the best way i knew. s&f

p.s. i can call you REP for short right?

[edit on 19-8-2009 by randyvs]

If I say this, I can say my sincerity is in fact, sincere.

You can call me rep those PC on here call me 08 for the 'conversion' lol.

Some even call me 'evil'. lol Not really just kidding there.

I will answer your 'rhetorical' question. For feeling you wished it to be rebutted.

If a almighty, all knowing being, created man, but of slaves to him. Is that all great a being?

Someone who supports slavery, not of blacks, indians whites asians, jews. But of all humanity, to be slaves to 'him/her'.

It seems our rationality would be Above his, for he who seeks a choir to preach to his will, which after the end, is really, seemingly nothing at all.

Who will you blame when you come to realize that you are god?

Proverbs 16

4The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

So god, persay, created hell, for his own 'amusement'.

A sick and sadistic god at that, is what we should praise. Worthy of praise.

That makes me only think, that I wish i'd never been born.

But further more, I wish i'd never of been created in the first place.

If I could stand face to face with a sadistic god such as this, I would and would spend eternity in hell happy as a kid in a candy store for the oppurtunity to do so, if this is what he considers amusement.

) jeje

you're accusing yourself because he, truth, is one

why dont you start to searchn INVITE your reasons,
instead of (staying) being poetic

(sorry jeje, i always have to be rude, but i dont mean it like that,
i wish i could explain you, but everybody is always so much busy with whining,
instead of listening, look truth is something you have to seduce,
you have to hate it but invite it, it will come and explain you,
even when truth is bad, invite it, if you have to invite satan,
invite him, because when you love him, you will love god,
and his one, yourself )

Jesus invited satan to test him, he died his seperation,
because of inviting satan...relgion does not get this.
relgion doesnt get honesty,
or they would admit they can't know as humans
that jesus lived, so they would stop accusing.

Well, go look in the mirror and tell him. And then maybe at some point mid sentence, you will think "hmmm, maybe there is more to it than I realize".

The place is a school, to learn both good and evil. Yes it sucks seeing the evil, but it obviously has a purpose and highlights and gives you understanding.

Your belief or hatred of god isn't changing this fact is it?

Good points made in original post Republican. I wonder if you have red Sam Harris' concise, and powerful book "Letter to a Christian Nation". He makes similar arguments and also brings up that there is a high chance that those people being raped, tortured, or murdered, most likely believed that a loving God was watching over them and protecting them, and if they did not some part of their family most likely did.

I have wondered this myself at times esp when bad things like this happen. I personally dont believe "God" and I use that term loosely has anything to do with it, we are the ones that cause all this pain. We are the bad ones who need to learn how to get along and live together peacefully. It is sad to know things like this go on daily, but if I worry about it too much it will make my life very miserable and depressing. I know that sounds harsh but if I think about these things all the time I too will get pissed off and wonder where this God is everyone talks about so much.

I am happy you mention this,
because it is true

People who are from god

its what society doesnt want to take
because they are scared.

If you really believe in care, love
you will suffer, you will have a cross

thats why republican is thinking aloud
he is in pain because he cares.

god said lost sheep are his,
children do not need to see the whole truth
they even do not have to see god or belive in god
they just have to grow up by honesty
those are his children
children of truth.

(honesty gives you a cross, and because of this will enlarge your heart,
but people who are addicted to false peace will fight you always)

It's false peace persons who will tell you when you care,
you are the devil,
you are bad because you dont let them in peace,
when they are the ones who do not care about theirselves.
the beast is ignorance.

God is the one who has peace,
to be god you first have to see everything, like him, not ignoring,
and forgive it, understanding it. God justifies God by honesty.
Truth justifies truth
forget the old name of god if it makes it easier,
just call him life, truth and the way.

We aren't here to 'Play', or be taken care of.

Kharma is real, in the long term it is needed for the lesson learned.

The physical is unimportant, we didn't start as humans and we will not end as humans, 'god' is a word not to be used.

This planet is a prison and worst of all those who believe the contrary will never escape!

Look within yourself, of yourself.

Worrying about whatsa going on society and religion and all the different entities that grab your attention is truely what keeps you away from your path.

Where is General Motors now?

I forgot to put oil in my car, and now the motor is ruined. If GM makes such great cars, why is mine not running?

Where is GM now?

I was talking on my cell phone and didn't see the car in front of me had stopped. I'm lying in a hospital bed. Where is GM now?

I have no money to buy gas, and my car just ran out of gas on the Interstate. I'm stranded. Where is GM now?

A tree fell on my car. It's ruined! I can't drive it! Where is GM now?

Someone stole my car. I need it! Where is GM now?

I lost my job because my car broke down on my way to work. So what if I had been warned about laying out four times already? It was the car's fault! It broke! Where is GM now?

I submit to you that General Motors does not exist. It is a figment of your imagination.

The question isn't "Where is your God," but the question you SHOULD be asking is, "Where is man?"

God isn't going to come out and say, "Hey, here I am, sorry about that, was hiding in your closet under your pile of clothes. I thought for sure you'd find me since your porn mags are so close by, but you went for the mags instead of washing clothes. No worries, we all make choices. For the next time, I'm not a genie, ok?"

We're living according to our faiths -things we cannot see. After all, if the "mystery" was solved and KNEW God existed, you'd be a good little boy then now wouldn't you? Don't deny it, you'd be scared pantsless and not live your life like you are doing now.

If there was more faith in fellow humans you wouldn't be having someone out there planning an assassination at this very moment, or a rapist doing his deed at this very moment. Don't go blaming God for not doing anything about it, after all, He's doing what He should be doing --letting us take things into our own hands. In Heaven He'll have a direct say, but not here on earth (yet). In Heaven things are perfect because God is perfect. It's not that way on earth because humans have a say and occupy it. It's never supposed to be perfect on earth until after His 2nd coming and then it only lasts for a time.

God isn't to blame for all of these cowardly acts, man is, because many men are cowards. No, the blame rests solely on man for not reaching out and having a more active role in that rapists life, or whatever. That's where the failure has occurred.

God hasn't failed that rapist, or the killer, society has. You have. I have. We all have.

Ever have an out of body experience?
It may help you to know that this life is just temporary, or one of many.
So if bad things happen, you will never die and come back for another round.

When you look at it from that perspective you'll realize things aren't so absolute. We need adversity and evil, in order to grow as spiritual beings. This is a schoolhouse down here. If everything was 'nice' you wouldn't evolve spiritually nearly as fast or at all. so evil fits a good purpose in the overall skeem of things. mainly your development.

things will get better soon i believe. we are in a dark cycle, about to enter a more positive cycle.

Well god is watching it all happen like a tv show. Maybe he even caused it to happen.

Right now there is a positive action for every negative one. Our free will and Intelligence are constantly at war with our primal selves. Humans choose and we live with the outcomes of those choices.

What will you choose?

Rob a bank?

Help at a food bank?

Beat your Dog?

Rescue a Stray?

Drive a car bomb into a group of Strangers?

Give your life to protect a Stranger?

Where will fear and anger drive you?

Where will compassion and love take you?

Republican08, that sucks, for sure!

It is heartbreaking to see suffering....

We have two options...only 2.

1) "who gives a s*-+? screw um, it survival of the fittest!"

2) There is a source of evil.

Number 1 is a "natural" outcome

Number 2 is a "spiritual" outcome

OT's gonna go with 2? You? Others?
