Anyone else love

Epic fail with the title, the show I'm refering to is "The Wire".

They were showing repeats of the first season on BBC2 a while back, decided to watch it for kicks, found a few episodes online then bought the first season on DVD. It is the show that "denies ignorance" in my opinion.

It is without doubt the best television series that I've ever watched, the way it looks at the social, political and economic life of the city is so sharp and brilliant. The show gets better each season not being afraid to tackle hard issues in an un PC manner while giving the finger to the bureaucratic establishment.

I'd love to hear another people's thoughts on the show, favourite characters+moments ect.
