It's not that quiet here in Omaha Nebraska. Last night at 6 pm one of the
presidential air force one type aircraft landed at the base here in Nebraska.
We get these often. What was strange was that a minute later one of the biggest
dark green bomber/transport airplanes I have seen also cruised in. I have never
seen this before. They shared the sky; weird. The presidential aircraft always
travels alone when coming in to land here. However, it did not stop there. By
midnight, two more huge transport aircraft had buzzed the city and entered the base. Four
in one evening is a new record. There is no air show this week.

Whop, there goes another one. Not saying it is a sign,
but they are on the more for sure.

I know that while Congress is on Vacation the President is hitting the Town Halls around the nation hard.

When we are expecting Air Force One at our airport, the Secret Service leap frogs ahead to our location with Air Force Two and Cargo Planes to secure and ready the area a day or two before the President arrives. If there was not a fighter escort with the Air Force Boeing 747-200B then it wasn't the President, but Secret Service.

Enjoy the peace and quiet while you can. I fear it will not last long. I think we are just getting a break while they choose their doomsday scenario.

Do we go with crash of the USD?
Swine Flu?
Flase Flag attack?
Is it nuclear?
War with N Korea or Iran?

All of the above?

I would like to hope that maybe there are a few people pulling some weight behind the scenes that have some moral decency to avert the storm heading our way. However that hope is very dim.

Just because of the effects (or lack thereof) that I've personally seen of the Swine Flu, I don't think it is a scenario we have to worry about. Of all the confirmed cases in my area, the majority of them never knew they were even sick as they had no symptoms. We've had only one hospitalization in our State and that was someone with a pre-existing immune-deficiency disorder.

War with North Korea doesn't seem likely anymore. Tensions have subsided and it looks like diplomatic channels have been opened.

However, I'm going with False Flag and Iran in one fell swoop. The missing Russian/Finlandian Ship with possible recovered Nuclear Cargo that was destined to be dismantled in Texas, two stealth Russian Subs in U.S. Coastal waters off the East-Coast, rumors of the Russians selling Nukes to Iran, all sounds like the staging for a False Flag Nuclear Terrorist Attack that we can blame on the Iranians and justify cutting friendly ties with Russia to me. Something about it all doesn't sound right...and for the fact that no MSM is looking into these stories very deeply makes it sound very suspect.

Oh what a happy day that would be! I hope you're right!

Although I'm naturally optimistic, I'm also a realist and wouldn't help but wonder how long it would last before it fell apart.

But I love being proven wrong...especially when it is for something good and worthwhile like Peace.

What if...

Hurricane Bill doesn't go the direction that the weather people are predicting. And gets pushed someway into...NYC.

Natural disasters are always news breakers.
Martial law would be imposed.
Wall street would be in shambles.
Con Ed would be offline to millions of citizens.
riots in the streets.
etc.

Heh, at last a lighthearted thread(uh oh...that's a revolution on it's own..we're doooomed:lol

Same on this side of the pond.. biggest headline? Hold on..sensational: "Young drivers drink too much alcohol"

Mebbe the poster that mentioned "news overload"was right, and we are no longer used to quiet days.....(In an information society like ours, no crazy thought..pondering...)

Sometimes I think it's good to have a little bit of peace and quiet though. Let's the brain reset and helps you gain a little bit of clarity for a day.

Plus, look at this thread; it just seems like some friends having a chat, throwing out some opinions and breaking each others coconuts which is NEVER a bad thing.

I agree with the beer poster though, a good bbq couldn't hurt. Anyone up for some Heiny light's and triple cheeseburgers?

Count me in!
And If You've got Spare ribs to spare, I am already on my waterbike paddling to The US of A

No I meant forced vaccinations for swine flu. Swine flu if it even exists does not pose a threat, how ever the hype they are making about it and the forced vaccinations poses a very real and serious threat.

August is usually a quiet month and the 'Sunday of the year' in many ways here in the States, of course, this year is different however.

I agree this week has been quiet. It hasn't been a typical summer of course and the energy of the town hall meetings either reverberates to the top or is at least a reflection of the tensions within TPTB.
