Origins of Hellion-1957?

This thread will be about everything Hellion-1957. Lately there has been lots of chit chat about this SOHO imagry showing a brown dwarf called hellion-1957 seemingly heading for our sun... recent impacts on jupiter and venus seem to corraborate that this thing maybe be real but i have yet to really find anything solid on the origins of this thing. anyone know where this thing came from? if its real of doctored? is it heading towards the sun? is it what hit jupiter and venus?

the only things i can find are:

1. The Sun, our Sun, will be hit by a long since dead dwarf star. It has been named Hellion-1957. It was discovered December 22nd 1956

Velocity 87.33 km/sec
Density 174 gm/cm^3
Magnitude 11
Equatorial Radius 957.77km
Solid spherical shape

Mods: Can we slap a [Bogus] or [Hoax] on this subject?

We've already determined that hiding a brown dwarf or dwarf star from the astronomer society (amateur and others) would be physically impossible. Months and years before we'd be at risk.

Second it would be visible by now to the naked eye, and to anyone who picked up binos.

Third, there is no astronomical record for Hellion 1957.

4th, it was disseminated by Godlike Productions, and has only been picked up by sites like ATS.

It exists nowhere else on the web.

5th, there have been how many other junk threads of this topic...?

6th, Go plan your weekend, the world isn't going to end in this manner.

Could you post the source of this information please?

I am not too sure this exists because some of the claims being made, such as the claim that it hit Venus, and Jupiter, unless the member who said this was wrong about the info.

Wasn't this started in the website godlikeproductions or whatever is called?

Why haven't the mods locked this topic it certainly falls in Fake, Hoax and so on?

Good luck with that. I asked the exact same things a few days ago in a different thread, and nobody answered me.

I am guessing it's because there is no real information, it's just the same message making the rounds all over the net. I searched NASA and found nothing. (Oh right, they erased all the info about it... )

I still say it's prboably an Orson Welles type of "performance". At best.
And it's working the second time around!

No, this thread actually deserves to remain open until some solid info is given. The OP just wants to know where it all came from.

That's what I meant. They were talking about it AS IF it existed.
So why not give us (and themselves) some concrete information about it? And if they can't... well then!
Why is that confusing?
