Palistinians Play Soccer With Severed Head of Israeli Soldier

It all happened today in the southern town of Rafah a day after a similar attack in Gaza City.

Five soldiers were on a raid for weapons-making facilities in the city....

According to Israeli media, The personnel carrier was hit by a huge explosion as it moved between the Rafah refugee camp and the Egyptian border.

The carrier was packed with explosives and it created a massive explosion, leaving the bodies of the Israeli soldiers inside scattered in parts all over the scene... One report on cable TV news reported that Palistinian militants then began gathering up the Israeli body parts, and at one point were seen playing soccer with the severed head of one Israeli soldier.

"People were running after me and we were kicking the head," he said. "We were spitting on it. When we heard a helicopter we started running. I carried the head of the Jew and ran away from the area and I took it to the people in the resistance."

The Militants are holding the body parts of the Israeli soldiers for a possible future exchange with Israelis.

This week has made me sick for all of humanity in so many ways, I do not even want to imagine what we will see or hear from this world of conflict and war in the days, weeks and months ahead.

The incident near the southern town of Rafah came a day after a similar attack in Gaza City in the north.

I thought the thing with Nick Berg was disgusting, but in some ways this is even worse.

I feel sick about both of them. Are these sorts of people going to overwhelm the rest of us?

When are reasonable, normal people all going to forget about ideology and religion, and stand together against this madness?

I feel like we are living in the middle of Apocalypse Now.

remember the palestinians are oppressed and they have every right to do this, we should admire them and support them in everything they do. they are a peaceful people.

Just like the whole severed head story from Nick Berg.

The abuse in Iraqi prisons caused an uproar in the entire world and people all across the world and especially America were for once on the Arab side.

We can't have that.

So now they released the video of Nick Berg and now the Israeli soccer head just weeks after the photos of Iraqi abuse were released.

Anyone find that strange?

They want us to go back to the one big happy Arab/Muslim hating family like we were.

Yeah. I find it strange that you question every day Arab atrocities as if they were something new.

...but I see no correlation between the prison photos and a decapitation, nor do I between the photos and an Israeli's severed head being kicked around on the ground.

I see a messed up world, that's for sure, but I think we get a little too conspiracy-hungry at times.

well violence between Israelis and Palestinians is nothing new. They commit atrocities against each other every single day. Yes it's disgusting to kick around someone's decapitated head, but what did you expect? They killed their enemy not their friend.

Don't forget that Arabic culture is remninisent of Western culture in the middle ages. 500 years ago we were parading heads on sticks and committing atrocities as well.

Why are those photos coming out now? Well, it might be BECAUSE THEY JUST HAPPENED.

As opposed to the Iraq prison photos which happend a number of months ago.

Your opinion that the photos of the Israeli's head getting kicked around by noble Palestinians is "damage control" for the prison photos is 1) uneducated 2) hateful and 3) strange at best considering the lack of sense it makes.

Additionally numerous newspapers had accounts of a 17 year old militant holding a bag with "pieces of chest and guts" in it. That was a quote from the kid. Not from me, and not from a news reporter. AND IT JUST HAPPENED. Don't make timing comments that don't exist. This was not planned release, it's current events. Deal with it.

As a side note Ill, I am not part of any Muslim hating family or whatever. I hate people who find picking up splattered body parts fun. I hate people who don't treat others with the simplest respect in death, be they American, Muslim, or whatever.

I read the bbc article, I didn't see anything on soccer, nor google. Do you have a link to the Israeli media saying this?

Well they claimed they were Muslims and im guessing if they are from the middle east area they are/were arabs

And why everytime something happens like that (On this forum) its always muslims saying they are being blamed for it when it was people claiming to be part of Islam/muslims (Extremists)

Illmatic does have a point in stating the timing of such a post is rather... propagandistic. You have to remember that agencies are clever and quick to try to cover up their boo-boos with any kind of plausible tactic in their arsenal. Much like how CIA-front Arab websites have deliberately posted fake pornographic pictures claiming to be real pictures of the torture going on under Coalition control.

You have to realize - at least those of you who are angry, up in arms and ready to slay each and every person in Iraq out of spite- that the people in the video do not represent all of Iraq. That is a perception. The truth is that they are extremists. To say that their views reflect each iraqui's is as biased as called every irishman a terrorist against the crown.

All I've been able to find are literally dozens of news outlets mentioning Islamic militants scooping up splattered human parts and claiming that they are keeping the parts because they know that Jewish tradition requires burial with bodies intact, and knowing this they can use the parts as bargaining chips. Greetings from the Hamas meat market I guess. Psychopaths. A good horror writer like Stephen King couldn't have even come up with anything that nasty.
