Well then fine, your argument is sorta made moot by the fact that I didn't say consciousness or awareness was faulty, rather I said the faculties involved in sensation and perceptions were which is what happens when you deprive the brain of oxygen.

Bill Maher might or might not be funny, but he had the guts to confront those unfunny people of the moral majority and any fundamentalist organization.

Wasn't referring to the above statement but am pointing out to you there is more to this than you can realise.

And that this which I experienced is very very common.

But don't listen to only the negativity that is out there, consider there may be more to this, than what you are aware of at this stage of your life....

Yes Bill Maher is very funny. I used to watch him when he was on one of the major networks. Then I used to watch him on HBO.

Loved his style of debate and loved how he had the ability to take all different kinds of people on his show. That takes a lot of work and celebritiy but he did it.

Though, I think he did hit upon teaching Creationism in school few times.

Why are creationism and evolution mutually exclusive. The truth usually lies between the extreme. Why could there not be a force in nature call it god if you like,, that guides the flow of evolution. There is you know so why don't both sides at least accept it as a possibility and be done with all this squabling.

The problem of the ONE and the MANY. Or perhaps both.

The infinite number of individuals or a single consciousness.

People who support the single consciousness of the ALL has yet to answer questions. For example, why am I conscious of myself and not you? If the answer is hidden from me, then why and how is the universe and other beings working without me?

If it is hidden from me, then I am an individual being without the knowledge of others or I would have known the inner workings of the universe.

What do you mean by Creationism? Do you mean that the Earth was created 6,000 years ago? Created by a Judeo-Christian God? What?

You have to pick a god and a story and then present evidence.
