Wow...I understand ppl wanting to make a statement but toting an assault rifle is a little extreme and scary at this type of venue will probably send the wrong message...but its a freedom message in his eyes

Haha... I guess they do things a bit differently where you live but fair enough. Then yes I certainly hope no one would be dumb enough to carry a firearm anywhere if they are planning on drinking not to mention it is illegal.

More power to those people protesting out in Arizona although things like this are what the Pentagon is counting to get those 47,000 troops on the ground here at home like I said in an earlier post all they are looking for is an incident real or imagined.

It's only a matter of time before one of these people takes a shot at Obama. That's what happens when republicans lie to their delusional supporters. These people want to murder the president, they don't care about their rights they just don't want a black president. If this isn't about race then why didn't you gun lovers bring all your guns when Bush was in town?

I am sorry but there are much more responsible ways to show your support for anti gun control, good grief thats just adding fuel to the already horrible situation we are in with the big push to disarm.

Now I am not going to fight about this because I feel just as strongly about my rights as the next person, but I also know how things can get used as fuel for the fire too.

According to our constitution and Arizona's open carry laws, anywhere is a place to carry a gun.

As long as everyone acts responsible, what is the problem?

Some people might buy your brainwashed argument except the guy carrying the AR-15 was BLACK.

I know it might be hard for you but trying doing a little research before your regurgitate what someone else told you to think.

They didnt even allow Tshirts that were offensive during Bushes Presidency, wonder if it is a racial thing?

Edit to say thats just crazy, a Presidental rally is NOT the place for guns, no way.

It is indeed unfortunate you feel this way about responsible gun owners. Especially so, considering none of them broke any laws. Over the top offensive to entertain the notion of a "racial thing ?" Would you mind elaborating on that construct ? I may have misunderstood . Thanks

They go in shoot up peoples homes now, they take children, they gas children of renegades. Have a plan but raising your gun to the vaccine workers is not going to help your cause or your children to be safe.

That might be one's initial reaction but all of the gun owners at the protest acted in accordance and responsibility with the law and just plain decency.

I find this to be quite a profound message to send to TPTB in what is supposed to be a free society.

You WISH for me to elaborate on the 'racial' thing, NO!

It may have been clarified already, in a way.

Listen bub, I come from a long line of outlaws, as far as guns go, you cant pick a fight with me, but I also respect the office of President no matter how screwed up things have been and continue to be, I have my oppinion and have stated it clearly, I do not think that toting guns at a presidental rally is wise nor in the best interests of keeping our gun rights.

Granted you have a valid point, however as someone else in this thread pointed out it will only be a matter of time and this is the kind of situation where an actual set up could happen easily by tptb.

Can you imagine if everyone was toting guns when JFK was driving by? Or any of the others who havebeen shot in office?

Guns at Presidental rallies are not a good idea.

I hate to say it, but if a firefight broke out at a protest, you might as well head of the hills because that will be taken as the first shot of the 2nd American Revolution.

It would be on then.

Odd, I just tried to post a reply condoning the actions of these people in VOICE OF THEIR RIGHTS, and I couldn't post it.
Lets see if this comes through and then I'll try again.

Perhaps your loyalty should lie with your country and the constitution not with the president.

Technically by the law most of our federal government should be on trial right now for treason, theft, murder, and various war crimes. Not to mention the blatant disregard for our constitution. This included our president. This man steals from you a daily basis and is allowing if not our right committing murder on a daily basis through his policies and you are going to worry about a few law abiding citizens carrying guns to make a statement?

I question where your loyalties lie and I cannot fathom for what purpose.

To the poster speaking about the Feds taking up sniper positions against the 'gun toters':

I wonder how many, if any, citizens took up superior positions.

People SHOULD let their voices be heard like this. This kind of thing is what is shutting down the healthcare fiasco.
We all hope that it doesn't come to violence, but it appears people are willing to take it where it takes.
And this is why the representatives are coming around, so to speak.

SELF-GOVERNANCE! This is what it is!

That would be because Bush was not trying to take them away from those people... helllllllooooooo

Nor jab them with needles with who knows what in them...

No one aside from a couple loonies that surely must be out there want's to shoot the president... they just don't want a King again...

Not even taking a side here...

700 contiguous miles of woods outside my door when people go nuts... i'll be somewhere out there enjoying the venison if I have to... "People can Trip, doesn't mean I have to trip with them"

Just don't be ridiculous these people aren't going ape over race...

they are going ape of issues that are real to them being stepped on...

I wrote about this earlier this year many times, the City and the country are different places, i'm not supposed to have a gun because of a moronic fight in California... 10 years ago and various law changes, I hurt no one, I had a misdemeanor lol... only one in my life, it's expunged completely... I have NO record...

But if i take a gun into the woods where there are BEARS... I can get a few years in jail...

and that's the tip of the iceberg...

breaking down doors over weed lol...

The vaccination thing, trying to eliminate home schooling, socialism...

These people aren't going to take it...

I wont be joining them... but I am sort of proud of them...

it's utter bull already, you can't even go out at night anymore... they are out of control and this state in particular will hand a collective whoopin out, people are ready,

like I said... 700 miles of contiguous forest and canyon... not sure exactly what kind of a plan they will have for here lol... if people go bat poo crazy.

Might as well be Afghanistan...

Except with better hardware and more brains...

The USA might really fracture if they keep it up... Obama understands the ghetto, not the rest of America, he's a good man, but making huge mistakes...

99% of this country isn't the needs of the inner city...

I actually have come to like the man... I think maybe, he will "get it" lay off the rest of America... he has shown himself to be adaptable...

lets hope over next 3 years he is as social adept with everyone as he is in his own environment...

to hope...

Just don't light flames with the race card... I know these people, it's not about that...
