Forced Blog Vote

I don�t think forcing people to vote by leaving the voting box above the threads is a good idea. I�m sure some people put a lot of time and energy into their blogs and they may not get the credit for doing so. Not everyone reads the blogs and will still be forced to vote to remove to voting boxes, so that person is likely to just randomly pick a name from the list and cast a vote. That same person isn�t likely to go to the blog section, read all the blogs, forming an opinion, then return to the voting boxes and cast his vote. It just doesn�t make any sense. I�m worried that the people that deserve to win won�t.

It may be more effective to put up the same 1-10 thread rating system at the top of each blog.

Well...they're not exactly twisting our arm...

I don't care. It's not working anyway, I only voted once since the start of this. I rarely read blogs anyway.

Here's an option...

Ignore the voting box. It will go away at the end of the month.

I don't feel forced, but then again, I also decided I wanted to vote.

Exactly. If you don't want to vote, dont.
I vote because I want to, not because I'm forced. I mean, Valhall isn't going to come to my house and kick my arse if I don't vote.
