What will you gain when young Americans and old Americans are denide life saving treatments? I for one will not be a voluntary sacrifice nor will I encourage those who want to sacrifice other people.

And what will you do when young Americans and old Americans are denide life saving treatments because they can't afford health insurance? OOOH thats right, that is happening now !

The government and charities (such as Shriners) do pay in those cases
,but I have never envied people who had to rely on Uncle Sham for health care. Indian women have been sterilized and welfare mothers have been pressured by social workers to have sterilization procedures. The government workers are rude when they say no unlike the insurance people. Also ,it is easier to sue insurance people than it is to sue the all powerful government.

Good post OP! As an American, I cannot agree with you more. However, please realize that this is not about health care. This is about a large part of the US that..1) Cannot accept a black president. 2) Are sore because their party lost the election. 3) Are members of powerful corporations (insurance companies) that don't want to loose their money sucking edge. 4) Are stupid (but otherwise good) Americans that have bought all the lies about death panels, loosing their "pea shooters" (guns), etc, etc.

Oh, and these same folks were calling FDR and JFK the same liberal, socialist insults when they started medicare and social security. Now just ask these hypocrites receiving these benefits to give up one these things and you will draw back a nub!

I am truly ashamed to be an American at this moment in time and if it were not for having family here, I would leave this materialistic, haughty, racist, religiously hypocritical country!

The sort of people who call all those who disagree with them racists should not be in charge of healthcare. Our government is full of abusive jerks who will use any power given to them to bring pain to others. I can not support Obama's plan. I don't want to force black people or even my worst enemies to plead with uncaring government agents for the lives of their loved ones.

Too many men in this country have had their minds poisoned by the foolish ideas that you have put out here, and that is very sad, and that is a big problem in this country.

Step back from this twisted and convoluted mess of lies that you have been sold, and look at the basic facts.

IT IS TIME TO STOP THIS INSANITY!

Most of the principle founding fathers of the U.S. were Masons, including Benjamin Franklin and George Washington, and possibly Thomas Jefferson and James Madison.

www.rapidnet.com...

Lafayette, French liaison to the Colonies, without whose aid the war could not have been won, was a Freemason.

- The majority of the commanders of the Continental Army were Freemasons and members of "Army Lodges."

- Most of Washington's Generals were Freemasons.

- The Boston Tea Party was planned at the Green Dragon Tavern, also known as the "Freemasons' Arms," and "the Headquarters of the Revolution."

- George Washington was sworn in as the first President of the United States by Robert Livingston, Grand Master of New York's Masonic Lodge. The Bible on which he took his oath was from his own Masonic lodge.

- The Cornerstone of the Capital building was laid by the Grand Lodge of Maryland.

Even if the initiators of the Revolution had been Christians, the fact remains that the Revolutionary War and the nation's government were structured by the tenets of Freemasonry, not God's Word. It was an unholy alliance at best.

Do you really think Masons, who played such a tremendous role in establishing U.S. independence, and created the world's first constitutional democracy did so with the goal of enslaving the people of the world several centuries later.

Do you see how foolish this twisted tale you spin is?

Do you think Benjamin Franklin and George Washington were fools bilked by some Illuminati?

Or is it more likely that you are the one who has been sold a bill of goods?

The purpose of Masonry is to make a man a better man. It was a way for the common man to join a fraternity, and to improve himself not only morally, but in manners and education. It was the answer for the common man to the aristocracy. A way for the common man to bring himself up to be on equal par with the royals, and it succeeded. Essentially, Masonry is the complete opposite of everything you have bought into.

Hitler, financed by U.S. industrialists first took out the union leaders, and then the Masons, even before he went after the communists.

It is the people spinning these lies that you have bought who are the ones you need to worry about. They are the ones who want to take away your freedoms, and kill anyone who stands in their way.

You are being used as a tool.

The banks and insurance companies always have their minions being nice and friendly as the read the pact of corporate lies they are hired to feed you, but if you insist on talking to their managers, you will most often find yourself dealing with a rude, as well as extremely dishonest, person.

Most of the times I have dealt with the federal government, I have found them to be nice and friendly, and a lot more honest than any corporation that I can remember dealing with.

There are plenty of racists in the private sector as well. There are jerks everywhere. People discriminate for a great many other reasons besides race. Bigots come in my shades and colors, and I have personally had to deal with bigots of many colors and kinds.

The government does not care about us or our health. The FDA is trying to ban vitamins and herbs meanwhile it is allowing melamine in infant food. In the small matters I have dealt with beaurocrats I have been lied to ,and to boot, they have been rude. I do not like the way the IRS and CPS treat the poor. The people in our government are addicted to power.

If you have been treated well by the government in every instance you are exceptional. You must be one of those people who can talk their way out of traffic tickets. The rest of us live in fear of government goons kicking in our doors and separating us from all we love. This is one of the reasons the government does not deserve to have control over health care.

When you elect people like GW and Cheney, whose goal is to make government fail, of course it doesn't work.

GW and Cheney are the reps of the powers that be. GW great uncle helped to finance Hitler. They want government to fail. They don't want government to do its duty of looking after the general welfare of the people.

Government ran fine under Clinton. Clinton also began enforcing regulations again, which actually boosted employment. Clinton proved that when government is ran competently, it works fine.

What GW and Reagan and GH before him demonstrated, is that when government is ran badly, corporations also begin perform poorly.

Both parties work for the same people(the elites). You are right not to criticize the people holding office. They come and go ,but the agenda of the elites remains the same to strip you of all your rights. You had better start attacking every peice of legislation designed to erode your lifestyle and rights. It does not matter which party pushes a bad law or bill on behalf of the elites. You will regret this crappy bill designed to strip patients of rights and choices long after Obama leaves office. I'm sure Obama will shed crockadile tears for you as he plays golf with Bush 1 and 2.

At least he is useful for keeping shills employed defending government from the people of this country. Whatever the shills are being paid for defending the fda and bad medicine is not nearly enough; a soul should be worth more.

No, they don't work for the same people, and there are clear differences in approach by the different parties, and this is clear to see by their actions.

Republicans, consistently, huge tax cuts for the super rich, borrow huge amounts of money to spend on the military, which they use to push around third world countries that don't support U.S. International corporations. They currently have this con job about the free market that has taken in so many suckers it is hard to believe. Republicans turn their backs on white collar crime, completely ignoring it, while getting ever more strict about drug laws, which are design to create crime and take away peoples rights in the first place.

Democrats, willing to raise taxes on the rich to make them pay back the huge debts borrowed by repub admins for the benefit of the rich. They start reinforcing the laws against white collar crime, and start enforcing laws against companies abusing their employees, failing to follow procedures in order to save money, all that stuff. The problem with the democrats is that they don't treat everyone equally. They want to give poor people and minorities special privileges.

The differences between the two parties are clear. While they both wind up working for elites in order to get campaign money, they work for different elites. The democrats aren't all that great, in fact they could do a whole lot better, but they are better than the republicans, who are morally bankrupt at this point in time.

Yeah, it would be nice to find a party that actually represents the people. Ron Paul ain't the answer.

Exactly why do you find this entertaining?

Thirty seconds into this video, I realized that it was a complete waste of time, and then replied.

I'd rather watch some stupid video on Britney Spears, and I don't even care for that either.

What ever floats your boat.

Did I say I found it entertaining? I can't stand when people invent my positions.

You may have noticed I said to skip to 1min xxSecs to see his golf swing.

So for you to complain you were bored at 30 seconds just means you're clueless LOL.

There is a simple reason why Americans loathe socialism. We are generous. Socialism is for selfish people who have no intent to help the poor and believe its the government's job because they sure know they wouldn't do it and they don't trust others to do it either. Look at what Bill Gates and Warren Buffet (America's richest people) are doing. They are giving truly massive portions of their wealth to charity. They are doing what the government can never hope to achive... spending money efficiently.

If you have a country filled with stingy rich people among starving poor people, then go ahead and install your socialism. For other cases though, learn how much money that goes to the government is then promptly thrown into a giant money hole and never seen again. So of course... socialism is not for Americans and generally we despise it as something for a meant for lower classes of human... specifically the anti-social class. In fact, it should be called anti-socialism because it works best when the people of a country are anti-social.

You can't compare any country in the world to America. America has more guns, violence, lack of morals, etc. than Canada and France combined. there is only 1 america. What worked in Canada is assured to work here. America stands alone because there is only one country with america's people and america's past.

Please cite sources for the lack of morals of America. The French and Canadians believe theft should be legal (ie taking from people without their permission to fund social programs) which I view as highly immoral. Also, the French seem to have a habit of burning people's cars down... is that from a jealous rage they they themselves do not own a car... if not then what? I'm talking about the morals of people on the street and not those in political power. I can't say I'm particularly thrilled with America's moral values but they seem a slight improvement over those of the French and Canadians.

Generally moral values are not measured. However, one measure of moral values that is most meaningful to me that is measured is the level of generosity by individuals to others. So when you take two comparable disposable incomes... one in France in America... who is the more generous person? Of course that is only one portion of moral values.

A citation for the additional violence in America would be helpful too, as firstly I do have some doubt and secondly I am betting once you take out violence related to the war on drugs, America is actually a more peaceful country than either France or Canada.

Lastly I'd like to point out I believe the safest and least violent country by my theory would have a good fraction of its citizens carrying concealed handguns, but at the same time not having wars against matters of personal liberty.
