Gerald Celente - We are heading towards war

Celente knows about a war because that or a plague is the only thing that will be a cover for the financial implosion of the dollar and the economy. And what was said about Jim Rogers about this being A worse depression is correct. People today compared to earlier are entirely different. Today people are more self centered and more about what they can do to get ahead irregardless of who they screw in the process. And add on top of that many of us are one to two paychecks away from destitution and you have a recipe for disaster.

Is Clemente not highly skilled in global economic analysis? It would seem to me by looking at Clemente's website that he is a long-standing professional in the area of global economic political analysis.

His dire prediction that there will be a revolution? Or are you talking about some other prediction? I don't really see what the dire part of a revolution is unless you're on the receiving end of the peoples anger.

Aah, this thread titled "We are heading towards war" is not the same thread in this forum that deals with another Celente's prediction that says we are heading toward some revolution. Celente makes so many predictions that it's hard to get them organized. That's normal, coz if you make lots of different predictions, there is a chance that you hit something right.

IMPORTANT ! About the economy. Noone likes the reality because this gives too much gloom and doom. The world economy is not in dire straits, it will recover, yet we must seperate grains in soil from grains on asphalt. Germany will recover, so will China, Japan, South Korea. Why? Well, Germany exports in excess of 1 trillion dollars, they have diverse manufacturing and export partners, they have huge skilled population that is highly skilled- meaning a huge population with high purchasing power. This population makes the economy going, because their salaries allow them to buy houses, cars, educate their kids, etc. So is Japan. Also China will recover. Their industrial complex is huge, and export market diverse, they accumulate in excess of 200bn dollars annually in currency reserves. In comparison US bleeds out approx. 800bn dollars annually. And it is not a period, girls, it won`t stop. There are 2 seemingly strong countries that will not recover. Firstly, it is USA, the crippled system of manufacturing that has yielded mediocrity in product quality, diversity,complexity and competetivness,has brought America down. Now, that Amrica has shown they simply can`t manage building consumer electronics( largest added value import) they have to resort to simplified exports,like cotton, corn, poultry, discretionary etc. Yet what they have forgotten is that those industries don`t involve enough highly skilled +paid workforce. This lead( simple past) to decrease of purchasing power and consequent reduction of interest rates, because the actual savings of the population didn`t allow Americans purchase properties or GMC Yukons. Another country in dire straits is The Great Britain( more Britain than Great), Her external debt has rolled over 10tn bucks and is unsustainable. Britan the same way as US thought they wouldn`t need to manufacture anything just wobble in their office seats and gulp coffee consulting or stamping stamps on some papertrash.The ultimate question is- how do we bring sustainable education back to schools that would translate into added value industries? And the ultimate answer is not 42............

Calente will be correct in his predictions and trend forecasts, there will be a war, in fact the US has been in a war since september 2001. Now the US is moving heavily into Afghanistan while moving out of Iraq, so there is a good chance this war will continue for a long while, sadly.

I think that what the govt is doing with all the bailout plans are going to lead to a much weaker dollar, and one of the few ways for most people to protect themselves is to invest in gold related assets.
