I think thats its not that far fetched that some if not all reflective surfaces have some kind of world, universe, diemeinsion, ect. call me crazy but i think possible that in water, tvs, computers, mirrors, stainless steal[apliences, dog bowls, ect.],certin minerals, metal sheets, windows, ect.

But the question is whats on the other side of them?

I think that fantastic and extremly high
worlds are on the other side but there would also be bloody, gorey, horrofying worlds
.

What do you think is on the other side

Good luck posting

Here's another thread about the same topic:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

On the subject of mirrors, that Youtube video of the little girl brushing her hair in front of a mirror and then turning around when her mum calls her (but the mirror image does something different) really gives me the heebie jeebies.

Look into the concept of "Scrying." This is an entire mystical art devoted to images in phenomena in mirrors, crystals, rocks, and other reflective and semi-reflective surfaces.

When I was little, my dad would tell me and my sister that there was another world on the other side of the mirror and that we just had to look very closely. . .
It was all very sweet at the time - he had great ways to entertainment our imaginations..
But they do seem to possess magical qualities..

Something I found online:

Mirrors seemed to posses a power beyond the natural, a reflection of the truth, and so became a handy repository for many mystical and supernatural ideas. They did seem to be portals to another world at times, as one proved to be precisely in Lewis Carroll’s “Through the Looking Glass.”

One interesting superstition involving mirrors is tied in with a famous myth- vampires. According to many stories about the nocturnal blood suckers, they can not cast a reflection in a mirror. This is yet another link to the ancient beliefs that mirrors can interact with a person’s soul.

In many films and superstitions, mirrors have been linked with the dead or after world. Maybe there's an element of truth there??

Superstitions, where you look for something after the fact, spilling salt, walking under a ladder, a black cat. Of course it raises your awareness, and simply an inevitable bad thing will happen, and you may wonder if, just if it was because of that stupidstition.

And then Films... yeah... not even gonna go there.

Reflective objects are that, reflective, don't give this joker any validity, the point was trolling and poking fun at people.

The whole seven dwarfs stuff, with that mirror, give me a break.

I'd suppose taking a picture of someone grabs their soul and takes it. It's possible, their is superstitions AND movies made about it..... I may be on to something.

That makes no sense because the only thing different about a mirror is that it reflects more photons than most surfaces. Look at a marble floor. Its quite reflective. And if you buff up any surface it becomes reflective. Even if you don't buff any surface, its still reflective to some degree. So, your eyeball functions as a mirror. Your fingernails function as a mirror... especially if you buff and polish them. And to some small degree even your skin is reflective of some light.

I believe that a mirror is all about revealing what is in our own world and has nothing to do with other worlds.

look into the mirror
love who you see
the face in the mirror is me
do I move my hand
or does it move me
the face in the mirror
which is being

------------------------

in the poem
"which is being"
meanings can be :
which one is the being?
which one is the one in control?
the image in the mirror is as it should be.
the image in the mirror is reflective of the real person .
the looker is as they should be seen.
the looker is in control of the reflection .
the image , which is aware of action.
the looker , which is aware of action.
...etc...

mirrors are funny like that .

much like pornography , I can't define it.
but I know it when I see it .

a person can look at a stone statue and give it the propertys of mind , soul and personality .
but can a rock or stone tell the that a person is aware .

reflective light is nice , but frankly ....
birds get angry that another bird is in its cage , when a mirror is placed there .
the silly bird will show rage! fluff up , puff up , scream and wail its frustration ...

and show its true nature .

not so diffrent from a person .

what you see in the mirror , is a vision of who you are .
looking for other worlds , other dimensions greater than being in the minds eye now .

life is funny that way , understand the under lying concepts , and apply them in things similaure .

(post script )

may I add , upon reflection .

just building a complete list of the posible meaning of
" which is being "
a very clear structure of what is meant by the words :
point of veiw , control , actor , reactor , aware , and being aware ...

just making the list , not even studing it , just making as complete a list as can be managed .

once done ... as a concept , where this study may be also applied is a bit remarkable .

you are dealing with reality , and the nature of reality's interface with the knower .
commonly considered a nearly imposable task...
but befor you is a tool..

a clearly defined concept that is simple upon its face....
but can be applied on things less simple... but no less true .

They did it with a special program, I forget what the program is called but there's a youtube vid about how to do it/how they did that. It used to freak me out too until I saw the other video about mirror images.

Here I found it and the turotial one is better than the original!!!!
