“Health Care” is being talked about more now than any other topic. Everyone needs to know and argue about how it’s going to be paid for.

Isn’t it important to understand exactly what it is we’re fighting so hard for?

I finally put together the type of video which explains, maybe better than I can in words, the REAL health care problems we have which are not being discussed nearly enough.

Here it is: (slightly larger than the 50MB size limit for ATS video so it’s on Youtube for now)

Does anyone have any ideas about how we can beat this??

Great video

I totally agree that diet can cure most things. The western diet causes all these so called diseases.

What everyone needs to realize with regards to health and medicine alone, is that there is a small group of very powerful people who own and control most of main stream medicine's direction, the main stream media, the universities (where new doctors are trained), research societies, governmental agencies & regulation bodies, the pharmaceutical & food industry, as well as the central banks; all of which are privately owned corporations that have grown to the size of multi-national conglomerates. Not only this but they operate in conjugated with one another as agency wings of "implementation".

Remember that when corporations control and direct a nation's policy then that, by definition, is fascism.

SkepticOverlord's experiences detailed in his recent thread about a trip to Washington was rightfully filled with disturbed accounts about lobbyists' influences and attendance.

"more than 80% of all the people in the packed room were lobbyists"

"So I asked him, "With all these well-paid professional lobbyists representing big chunks of potential money, how do actual constituents stand a chance?" His response, "They don't, they never did."

Damn the country, Obama must fail

So how is it that we cannot consider ourselves already a fascist state? Is it because the majority of our citizens want to "believe" that's not the case? When the state of affairs has been systematically engineered out of the hands of the people and put under the control of mega-corporations via their lobbying and influential power over senators and our representatives, how can we not draw this conclusion?

Does this picture hold any significance?

This is Jon D, our "beloved" Rockefeller's dad, already completely in the position to power strangle Washington in the year 1900 from his oil monopoly and more. David Rockefeller is still a twinkle his eye at this point. Yet, people seem to want to believe that the "power AND money AND influence" has somehow "evened itself out now or evaporated to the point that we shouldn't think about or consider their current, potential implication.

So what I'm saying is that through examination and researcher it's not hard to see how that the state of affairs and influence NOW, are 100 times worse than they were in this 110 year old photo.

Not only has oil and technology been hijacked and compartmentalized away from us, the people, but the vast majority of available information on health, disease, medicine and science has been overrun and under heavy control, as well as every aspect of the financial model is controlled (what we know as money creation and usage) whether it be education, public perception and practice, facts and figures - they all exist only as control mechanisms to "funnel" us into a specific way of behavior and overall group mindset.

"The real rulers in Washington are invisible, and exercise power from behind the scenes." Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter, 1952

"Fifty men have run America, and that's a high figure." Joseph Kennedy, father of JFK, in the July 26th, 1936 issue of The New York Times.

These people control over 90% of the information, and this is how they manipulate and control most of our society, including the poisons that are increasingly being added to our foods.

When it comes to the largest of the corporations, multi-national conglomerates are the ones that can easily drive and enforce policy throughout various countries around the world. The sheer size and power of some of these agricultural, chemical, technological, media, and energy giants encompass so much control that government representations cower in fear under their influence and direction.

Here's a real life money - health care analogy:

Just as preposterous as is the fact that privately owned banks create and allow us to use THEIR money with IMMEDIATE interest attached; is the fact that our doctors and medical researchers are made to look for a needle in a haystack without being told they've been in the completely wrong "haystack".

Nice - Finally a reasonable and forceful look at the real issues facing the Health Care system which no one wants to talk about.

I will always be the first to say health care and insurance coverage, who pays for it and how it can EVER be afforded is all of meager secondary importance when it comes to the root or fundamental issues about illness and disease and our overall health.

You can't fix one broken system by replacing it with another broken system. Sure, the current health care system of "that's a pre-existing condition" insurance companies, employer-funded health insurance and miserable Medicaid is a public health disaster, but if we're going to fix the system, we have to come up with something that actually addresses the root cause of disease in America.

The current health care reform debate in Washington is really just a distraction -- a ploy to keep everyone focused on all the wrong topics while quietly refusing to talk about the big issues that threaten the health of an entire nation.

Here are the top 10 things missing from Obama's health care reform plan (and often absent from the debate):

  • #1) Ending the FDA's suppression of natural cures and safe, effective nutritional supplements.

  • #2) Initiating a real investment in public education to teach people about how to prevent disease with nutrition.

  • #3) Ending Big Pharma's monopoly on drug prices and drug patents (not to mention patents on human genes and animals).

  • #4) Restoring the ability for local doctors to practice local medicine without being controlled from bureaucrats in Washington.

  • #5) Cracking down on junk food advertising, soda advertising and pharmaceutical ads that convince people to purchase products that will only harm them.

  • #6) Banning dangerous chemical ingredients that cause diseases in the first place (aspartame, MSG, sodium nitrite, etc.)

  • #7) A real effort to improve school lunches and serve food that's nutritious instead of food that's cheap and convenient.

  • #8) Ending bizarre food subsidies on crops like corn that end up making high-fructose corn syrup the cheapest sweetener for manufacturers to use.

  • #9) Affirming health freedom for parents who wish to opt out of the current system of forced vaccinations and gunpoint-enforced chemotherapy.

  • #10) Requiring honest food labeling where irradiated and GMO foods are clearly labeled as such.

In fact, the current health care reform debate is missing a long list of items that are essential to a genuine improvement in the health outcome of the American people. Initiating a real investment in public education to teach people about how to prevent disease with nutrition...

Also as a actual solution the article asks specifically for Federal government encouragement and rewards for the people taking personal responsibility for their own health...

What a notation, people learning about REAL food TRUTHS, how our bodies USE them and taking actual responsibility for themselves.

Of course if that was the case, people would be forced to acknowledge and live their lives without the ease of "satisfying" their hunger with their "favorite" food and tastes that they've developed over the years.

A quick gaze into the shopping carts of people at the grocery store show that they aren't in the least concerned about the ingredient content of their chosen trough. People go for taste and if not that, then price. If something is on sale, (4 frozen dinners for $1) then, people will spend $28 dollars on that "sale" and call it a day well shopped; after a quick zoom down the diet pop isle.

Until we realize we can't float through life with our "mouths open", worrying about more important things, we will never address the health care crisis we face. We'll continue to fight over nominally useless treatments that NEVER address root causes and masks symptoms with drugs until another "variety" of symptom appears so we can repeat the entire cycle...
