My "political correctness" remark was based on his "evolution" comment. Not related to the firing. I enjoyed reading your posts as well.

Reading this thread...
maybe it's just me, but it seems like no matter what name you give the black race, it's always interpreted as "negative". Gee, why is that? Can someone tell me?

You both made laugh, we have here two anti-fascist person(because there is only anti-fascist who see racism every where in every word and espicaily where there is not), arguing about what colour those people are exactly, well you want to know what I think? you are the only racist here.....

As well as for saying "we had evolute as a race" is racist, we are not a race we are a species with different colour type because of their locations, African and southern continent people have mostly mid clear dark italic brown black skin colour( With that description I'm sure our 2 above fellas will not try to argue with me
) and northern continent people have mostly opaque white soft pink that can turn red with emotion skin.

That's all guys, in other words, Europeans(or Americanos or whatever northern peoples) are Africans who don't get sun bath everyday of the years and each times they are out of their homes, so that's mean we are all the same species with no sub divisions that we call races, if we agree there is a human race we agree with the fact that there is a supremacy human race and a awful retard one.

Now for the story, the company should be trial for racism and both of the manager and the mid clear dark italic brown black skinned person should get a big huge indemnity from the boss's pocket.

Wait who was fired and what for? It sounds like a white guy got fired to make way for a black guy, which is wrong, but that you are saying that he got fired for doing this and that was wrong to be done, but if it is the original, then it was right.

Can someone clear this up for me?

I really thought we had evolved as a race. I don't know WHAT I was thinking.

Your right, one crazy business owner is (supposedly) racist and now the entire white race is devolved.

Is that label even correct? I got it from the news, I didn't make it up.

I always hear the term BLACK person, yet state there are no black people. I'm not trying to sound racist, but brown is a more fitting word i think. Black seems to deam something evil and occult like. I dunno though... that's a pretty crappy story too OP.

I call them #000033

so....white people are really white? There is no such thing as a white person. Pink at best, what would you have us call each other?

I've got an idea. Instead of descriping each other by skin color how about by hair color? We would have the natural browns, blacks, whites, reds and then the excentric blues, yellows, greens and oranges

[Edit] Bald ones would be of course just 'skins'

Famous rapper KRS-One would agree with you. He always states... "that speaker... that's black. That table... that's black. My skin.... it's brown."

lol KRS one is great. Even if he seems a little off the deep end and crazy nowadays. Does he seem a little weird nowadays to you? I donno though, my skin is brown but I still call myself black. Atleast where I live calling someone brown usually means they are certain kinds of latino or middle eastern.

LOL, this reminds me of the picture I've seen in a book.

Yes, there are black black people out there, but you don't see them that often.

But anyway, it does not make any sense.

What if the person was red? Purple? Pink? Green?

What if it was an alien?

It's pointless.

It is time to get past this silliness.

Outright discrimination. The manager of this complex hires a black person to do a job. Sounds to me like the manager wasn't black. That part made me happy. Yay! Progress.

Then it turns out HIS boss crap cans him because the office just wouldn't 'look right' with a black person in it.

Martin Luther King and many others fought for decades for equal rights. The fruits of their labor is nothing more than Corporations and government entities "acting" right to avoid civil lawsuits and riots. The Racism is still there.

As far as racism goes, America is pretty mild. At least you don't have neighbors hacking each others heads off with machetes. The most you might witness is someone calling you a bad name. Whoopy F'kn doo. A well placed kick through the teeth solves most of those issues.

:p

I just got back from a trip. Looks like you guys got a long fine without me.

Yeah, I probably asked too many questions...I guess I don't understand the whole black - white thing, and I'm going to dig in to it a little deeper, I promise.

I'm no more white, than Mc Hammer is black....I just don't see it that way. I have had some REALLY dark friends. They always called themselves and me the N word. But I guess as long as they are fine with the color they are described as, it's cool.

I just think there is a lot more to it.

The WHITE guy got fired from his boss for hiring a BLACK person. They didn't want anyone in the office to be BLACK because the had 'an image to maintain.'

It's a private business, so I guess they can do whatever they want, at least according to some, but I just thought it was wrong. I thought we, as a people had already moved past the practice of racial discrimination in the workplace.

I KNOW that all WHITE people are not racist. I KNOW all black people are not racist. At least, not to the point that it will manifest itself in outward displays.

I hung around with a few BLACK people this weekend and none of them called me a SKINHEAD, or WHITEY, or CRACKER. I didn't lock my car doors or hold my wife any closer when I saw them either....and NO, I used no racial slurs. (it was US against the casinos. We were united against a common foe.
)

I suppose I was being naive.

This entire thing is bogus.

A man is a man regardless of what color his skin is.

A man was fired for hiring a man. How do we know the intentions of the sacker? Maybe the hired man wasn't qualified for the job. Maybe the hired man had a bad history. We don't know.

The fact that the hirer jumped straight to race is bogus. He's playing the reverse race card and it's despicable.

But the OP is right. I too thought we had moved past this.

it's not that hard.

"Black" people are varying shades of brown, as are people from the Middle-East, Australia, South America, North America (read: Native Americans), Mexico and Italy, etc, etc.

I am a black person who is nearly white, therefore, black people are not all black in color. And people who have an issue with black people being called black need to get over it already. It's a generalize term that is accepted and not racist.

Yes, in other terms black symbolizes evil while white symbolizes purity or holiness. Just because spirits come out at night, does not make the spirit nor night time evil. What you see is a projection of your fears.

Do we make such an issue about calling Asians 'yellow' or Indians (amer. ind) redskins? Or what shade they are?

And if I call you 'brown' . . . I'm telling you in a polite way that I think you are full of sh--.
