Wanted: Obama healthcare reform volunteers willing to be paid $15 an hour

latimesblogs.latimes.com

It seems that, despite all the media attention lavished on e-mail appeals to his supporters, not everyone pushing for President Obama's embattled healthcare reform plan these warm August days is an idealistic volunteer in it for the sake of helping move the country forward and gaining medical attention for millions of uninsured Americans.

So, now the Obama administration is paying people to support his Socialist healthcare reform... I guess they can't find enough "volunteers" and since a lot of people have lost their jobs they decided they could buy off Americans who need to feed their families...

Under the Obama administration "volunteer" now means "paid employee" apart from "mandatory" in the case of Community Service.

Wow, President Obama is turning more, and more like Chavez as he paid off poor people to support his Socialist programs....

Cool. Infiltrate, observe, report.

Get paid for it too.

If you are getting paid, then you are an EMPLOYEE. You are not a VOLUNTEER. People paid to distribute propaganda. Will they be wearing brown shirts?

Is this what they want them for?

I think the title of the video is a little misleading with no evidence that the guy in the brownshirt is a paid union thug, but he's definatly trying to cause trouble. It seems Kostric's point of if people are armed, there's less trouble was proven when the brownshirt backed away as soon as he realized he was carrying and went for easier targets.

Regardless of if these people are paid or not, more examples of this behavior, supporters pretending to be Drs the overly staged town halls will turn off more and more people to this "Healthcare reform".

To openly offer to support people to support a bill is a very desperate act.

And all the cop can say is "we'll figure it out, ok"?

I think these cops received orders not to apprehend thugs on brown shirts and blue shorts...

This is great! I was planning on attending a couple of Town Hall meetings with Allen Boyd later this month. Our Tea Party is going to have a big presence there.

I wonder if I can infiltrate and get paid? I can yell at my buddies on the other side of the line. We could even mock a fight, and do the talk show circuit! Might even get a beer at the Whitehouse!

It does seem odd that they'll let this thug continue on his way after kicking someone. I think the fact that he's actually wearing a brownshirt is somewhat amusing. This administration is getting a little out of hand with all of this. I think it says something when you have to pay people to go out and counter the angry voices of the people.

Wow, I just watched the video! I would love for that to happen to me! I would do just what these guys did on camera. Get the police, record everything, play the victim.............But, somebody would tail him, find out who he is, and we could pay him a visit a little later without cameras or police!

It would be far too easy to break this guy in front of everybody and give the MSM some ammunition. These guys did a great job of being the GOOD guys, and making the thugs be thugs! I can be a pretty good thug too, but I don't like jail, so I would wait and catch them mowing their lawn some Saturday, and have my fun outside of the public eye!

WOW
Excellent find!
Very interesting. So this is the 'change' that got voted in? Change, hope, unity, transparency. Hmm ... can someone point out where I can find that in this administration?

We'll figure it out down at the donut shop ok? If not then, maybe we will get it figured out at the strip joint. Don't worry we are on it.

Have you ever seen a more worthless public servant? A crime was committed practically right in front of his face. I will bet the man in the brown shirt was a fellow police officer planted in the crowd to stir up trouble.
