Georgia Republican Worries Dems Will Declare Martial Law

Rep. Paul Broun, who once compared Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler, now thinks the president is part of a radical “socialistic elite” that may try to declare martial law.

He also spoke of a “socialistic elite” - Obama, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid - who might use a pandemic disease or natural disaster as an excuse to declare martial law.

I don't know a lot about him, so I couldn't tell you
if he's just trying to get attention, or what, but these
are pretty serious accusations against Pelosi and Reid.

And I believe him. We've all suspected it, well most in the
conspiracy blogger world, but to here a congressman say
it is indeed, chilling.

Combine the news with the brilliant work done by Questionall's most recent thread, and thousands of other threads with tidbits of truth in them, the case is pretty strong that governments (most of them) of the world, are screwing their people, the United States being one of the worst.

We have worshipped greedy rich people, and consequently put them in charge of our daily essentials, and we are paying for it.

It's time, that we take this country back to it's core values. Farming, Freedom, and God.

Someone who probably stood by and watched Bush to lay the groundwork for martial law is now worried that the next president will use that power?

How ironic is that?

It's like hearing FOX news say that democrats are evil for calling dissenters "un-American" (even though it's taken out of context, lol). -- After 8 years of "you're either with us or against us" mentality that demonized anyone against Bush...

This world fails at making any sense any more.

I dare the Dems to try it.

I doubt Americans joined the military so that they could be used by the very people[0] who hate them against thier own countrymen.

I have no fear of the US Military


[0] = By Dems in this case I mean the Far Left Liberty-hating leadership, not the lower minions who for whatever reason still associate with that party.

In all honesty, I don't know where this will all lead to, but I know it isn't good. Martial Law? It fits with their elitist mentality.

These are the same people that said there is no death panel in the healthcare bill, but yesterday stated that the death panel option will be removed in the final bill.

I wouldn't put it past them to try, thinking that we were just sheep to take it.

Like anyone should believe what the Dems say will be or not be in the bill. It wont matter until the Conference Committee meets and Rahm and Ezekiel Emmanuel, and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid come up with the common language for the passed Senate and House versions.

And then will descend the 2,000 page non-integrated amendment 10 minutes before voting.

Are you saying that Obama is not tied to the socialist elite, and pushing us toward less rights, and more reliance on government.

I didn't vote for Obama, but when he took office, I was hopeful. I thought, here is a black man, who should appreciate civil liberties more than most, and all I've seen is him is not showing the people the truth, like he promised.

Where is the transparency? Since he took office, our national debt has increased needlessly by printing more money, instead of taking the high road, and tightening the buckle.

No, he couldn't allow the banks to fail, because he was put there by them.
