I received this in an email and thought I would share it. I guess i should have stated that.

The true point of my post was to make sure my fellow ATSers saw this. It is not important who authored it, but the information within.

Guz

Don't worry. This is the normal response from the left. When they're challenged they demonize the messenger to try to draw attention away from the message. Don't be surprised if an intern somewhere at the behest of his/her Democratic boss is checking in restricted government databases looking up information on you right now.

The biggest accomplishment Obama has made is making every single

Republican actually unite for once. Trouble is their uniting on an almost

bigotory basis and I'm not talking black and white here, I'm talking

Dem/Rep. How bout the accomplishment of the right wing to tear this

country apart? That is a more troubling statement then anything you put

down.

If anyone disputes that statement then why oh why do I get the EXACT same story from every single republican I talk to. And you guys are calling Obama a Nazi?? 'laughable'

Is this you:

www.sciforums.com...

It says at the top "a friend sent me this"

Please provide your source.

Never mind, it seems you are simply copy/pasting a regurgitated propagandistic emailer/tweet.

/m7s9dk

So much for raising the bar on our political discourse.

An interesting post OP, Clearly you were posting this as a warning to all members of ATS that they should not believe everything they read (especially if it lands in your email in box!) and that research into each point outlined in such emails is critical to forming an unbiased and enlightened opinion.

I really can't praise you enough!

Honestly if I had recieved such an email I would of deleted it as clearly biased and just as much garbage as a viagra ad and never of thought of posting it on ATS as a warning!

Kudos on Denying ignorace!

Big hugs for you!

Ok I will add to the list..

first the pros:

Tough, no nonsense stance on Somalian Pirates.

Ecallation of the war in Afghanistan.

Cons (not already mentioned in the OP):

Calling law enforcement officers "stupid"

Created a White House sponsored "hotline" to identify dissent from people opposed to health care reform. Effectively turning American against American.

He did NOT call the police officer stupid, he stated they ACTED stupidly.

He doesn't have to create a "hotline" for this, Americans are already turning on each other over this health care issue, watch the town hall meetings. The rich don't want to bother with the poor.

Actually by off-sourcing charity to the Govt, the Govt ensures that people dont want to bother with the poor. That is what was distinctive about American society. The people had to take care of each other because there was no Big Daddy to subsidize your sloth.

Thomas Jefferson:
The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.

Thomas Jefferson:

Mankind soon learn to make interested uses of every right and power which they possess, or may assume. The public money and public liberty, intended to have been deposited with three branches of magistracy, but found inadvertently to be in the hands of one only, will soon be discovered to be sources of wealth and dominion to those who hold them; distinguished, too, by this tempting circumstance, that they are the instrument, as well as the object of acquisition. With money we will get men, said Caesar, and with men we will get money. Nor should our assembly be deluded by the integrity of their own purposes, and conclude that these unlimited powers will never be abused, because themselves are not disposed to abuse them. They should look forward to a time, and that not a distant one, when a corruption in this, as in the country from which we derive our origin, will have seized the heads of government, and be spread by them through the body of the people; when they will purchase the voices of the people, and make them pay the price.

Amendment V

... nor shall private property be taken for public use without just compensation.

Stop being so afraid.

You're bigger than that.

Can you guess what the most effective tool is for controlling people?

.......

Stop helping entity's spread fear.

Instead, spread hope stripped of ignorance.

I don't have any problem with the list passed on in the OP. What I do object to is it being tagged as "accomplishments". Now I realize a working definition of accomplishments doesn't necessarily mean they are all a positive effect, however it does imply that they are goals realized.

These list items are all things posed as negative or adverse events, and without a balance of positive events ALSO listed, I believe this qualifies as propaganda or at least a very biased document. It preaches to the choir.

I don't say this in support of President Obama, just in support of a sense of fairness.

Don't forget this gem to add to his accomplishments.

He appointed extremist John P. Holdren as "Science an Technology Czar".

Some of Holdrens ideas:

Require pregnant single women to marry or have abortions, perhaps as an alternative to placement for adoption, depending on the society.

Adding a sterilant to drinking water or staple foods to control population growth.

Viewing capitalism as an economic system that is inherently harmful to the natural environment, Holdren called for “a massive campaign … to de-develop the United States” and other Western nations in order to conserve energy and facilitate growth in underdeveloped countries.

Holdren has been quoted as calling the United States the “meanest of wealthy countries. and has “left the door open” to prosecuting “global warming deniers.”

Right-wing fascists dominate this site, and moderators are obviously sympathetic to their agenda.

Pathetic

Good riddance ATS.

No. It would be Conservative Common Sence people that someone pissed off lately. Most on here are Americans. Most are in the Center as you want a political term.
Most can be pushed a long ways before they really react, but when they do, watch out!
You have to look no further than a little flag with the statement "Don't Tread on Me". It truely does represent what is going on here.

You forgot to add a few.

Taking care of ACORN with 5.2 billion in tax payer money.

Making sure his Apollo Alliance is well funded and a smooth running machine to take the power and wealth from us.

Here is a link to that information for Apollo, I do not want to have to repost that much information and videos.
