I’m conflicted, my opinions scripted
Self inflicted, in a shotgun town
Contradiction, this is life not fiction
You’re my pick me up, when it gets me down

You’re a flower, your forever blooming
A tower, onto which I lean
Sunshine when the rain is falling
The brightest star I’ve ever seen

Believe me, you shouldn’t leave me
Your nothing, without my love
An angel, but what’s your angle?
An angel, sent from above

Now your dying, now look who’s crying
My tears, camouflaged by the rain
Your flying, became falling, trying
I’m lying, trying to play their game

Now I’m lonely, your not here to hold me
I’m a phony, in a plastic town
They disowned me, how do I atone me
I was libertine, a king without a crown

That was another good piece for sure!

Full of meaning and emotion. I can almost taste it!

Another wonderfully inspired piece of art!

Hauntingly . . . nice.

And I like the way you used your words.

"Conflicted . .scripted . . angel . . angle . . blooming . . dying "
