I was thinking as I was reading this....the governors won't allow this however, How many czars are we up to now? Getting pretty damn close to 50 isn't it? Obama's appointed czars may become our overseers.

Maybe this is related:

www.breitbart.com...

WASHINGTON (AP) - A Republican congressman from Georgia said Monday he fears that President-elect Obama will establish a Gestapo-like security force to impose a Marxist dictatorship.

"It may sound a bit crazy and off base, but the thing is, he's the one who proposed this national security force," Rep. Paul Broun said of Obama in an interview Monday with The Associated Press. "I'm just trying to bring attention to the fact that we may—may not, I hope not—but we may have a problem with that type of philosophy of radical socialism or Marxism."

Broun cited a July speech by Obama that has circulated on the Internet in which the then-Democratic presidential candidate called for a civilian force to take some of the national security burden off the military.

"That's exactly what Hitler did in Nazi Germany and it's exactly what the Soviet Union did," Broun said. "When he's proposing to have a national security force that's answering to him, that is as strong as the U.S. military, he's showing me signs of being Marxist."

Obama's comments about a national security force came during a speech in Colorado in which he called for expanding the nation's foreign service.

Funny they've been doing this for some time. Just on a small test scale.

The thing I'd see as being very deviant is We in the USA don't have 400k soldiers to spare.

So, to myself, this looks like the implementation of UN troops. I'm totally serious for a long time I've learned the phonetics for hello, yes, no in a couple other languages.

People really need to wake up; our government has been hyjacked, and we are looking at what amounts to a rogue piracy.

Agreed! And why do you think they want to use foreign UN troops....I'll tell you, do you think Fran from Germany really gives a rat's a s s about putting a bullet through Joe American Schmoe? Hell no he doesn't.

It sure conveniently drops the moral factor when you think about it.
I agree. There are similar precedents, friends tell me that during the Iranian revolution, Iranians didn't want to shoot Iranians, so the revolutionaries imported enforcers from Palestine to shoot Iranians.

I haven't read all the posts here yet but has anyone mentioned
that if they declare a pandemic level 6 in the US we will be under
World Health Organization AND U.N law?

The John Warner defense reauthorization act of 2007 gives the
FEDERAL GOVERNMENT control of the state's national guards. Or
was it NSPD 51? At any rate they've already passed the laws and
this all going to go down under the pretense of Swine Flu vaccinations.

Don't bother arguing about your Constitutional rights - they've been
gone for 8 years. THEY JUST NEVER BOTHERED TO TELL YOU.

Here's a thread I just posted a few hours ago about how they destroyed the Constitution:

It's getting a little to real! I always thought somehow I'd be around
for the end of the show. Too bad it won't be on television.

I think "they" are trying to start a civil war.

I have seen posters in my neighborhood with Obama's face painted like the Joker from Batman, and under the picture in big bold letters says "FASCIST".

Town hall meetings are being disrupted – fights are breaking out… for what.
People are sheeple, so how can it be – we are all manipulated so easily.
Both parties suck… we are the puppets.

Actually! I think those guys in Iran were 'Ansar-e Hezbollah' and some Shi'a Islamists 'Hezbollah' mostly from Lebanon - and not guys from Palestine.

So maybe your 'friends' got it wrong!?

Peace!

Calm and prepared is always a good idea, but how long have we been saying this? Our rights are being stripped away slowly so as not to attract too much attention, kinda like putting a frog in a pot of water and increasing the temp until its boiling- the frog wont notice and then it's dead.
We can all think of something that has outraged us but we're still just theorizing and talking about it. A lot of people are screaming "socialism" or "fascism" but this trend has been going on for almost 100 years! When is enough enough? When do we revolt? How do we revolt? I think its time to start uniting all the groups that feel our gov't has been hijacked. The elite are making plans anticipating this, and I think we're behind schedule. We need to be making plans for what seems to be an inevitable revolution.

Or we need to "drink the kool-aid" and submit to the authorities. Talk can only do so much.

I agree but they wont go after all of the states, only the states they feel are the biggest threat. Nor do they have to go door to door, they can easily surround the cities and cut off all food, water and electricity.

my reply from missing cargo ship, thought it was kind of relevant to this thread.

Interesting however Obama does not support Isreal, nor would he support them in a war. I guess he could be mislead his enemies but I doubt it. This guy is a marxist communist and has been promised to become the first Pharaoh of the United States after the American Holocaust takes place.

Also a nuke bomb at an iranian port would have little affect unless a deadly wave of radiation spread out over the region which would set off a volley of nuclear weapons at the world in retaliation.

But a nuke bomb in an American port would have devastating consequences and pretty much shut our country down allowing Obama to become the dictator he has been promised. Of course they need a backup plan such as the swine flu and forced vaccines so they pretty much have all bases covered. Those chain of events would set off a civil war like you have never seen. The sad fact is Foreign military will be brought into the kill the American people while our military will be stuck in the mid eastern region and other bases around the world.

Hopefully the world knows the American people are waking up and seeing their government for who they really are. Slimy, greedy, war mongering elites who have not only destroyed our country but any other country that does not go along with the elites. Remember the PTB have to get to that 500,000,000 goal and America is target #1.

My fear is that they will use the swine flu to freeze the upcoming elections. Congress is the only people that can stop this madman and he has a plan to nulify them, ei all the czars.

I fully believe that if things started going down over here in America our troops would pack up and come home.

They aren't going to continue to fight a war overseas if their country is being attacked. Either way I hope it doesn't ever become a decision that has to be made.

While the idea has been tossed around for years...
There are two game changers at work now. Actually three.

First, we have the financial collapse that began in 2008. Many conspiracies abound...and they have central in thought that the collapse was a planned demolition to weaken the sovereignty of the U.S. and The Dollar.

Secondly, we have a "novel" flu that has put the WHO alert level
at Level 6.

Thirdly, we have the creation of NorthCom.

So...the game is not the same as it was 10 years ago...

Historically, Americans haven't trusted the military to do domestic police work. The 1878 Posse Comitatus Act, passed in response to abuses by federal troops in the South after the Civil War, prohibits the use of the military "to execute the laws" of the U.S. That's been widely interpreted as a ban on searching, arresting or spying on U.S. civilians by federal troops.

But the law has been violated, notably during the Vietnam War, when Army operatives spied on antiwar activists on campuses. Meanwhile, Congress has eased the law's limits to allow the military to help prosecute the war on drugs.

After the Sept. 11 attacks, the White House sought to further loosen restrictions to allow the military to take on a new domestic-security role. It has mostly been rebuffed. In May the House refused to approve a White House-backed proposal to give the Central Intelligence Agency and the military authority to scrutinize personal and business records of U.S. citizens. And the Senate last year blocked funding for a Pentagon project known as the Total Information Awareness program, which was supposed to collect a vast array of information on individuals, including medical, employment and credit-card histories.

The issue of an expanding military role in domestic affairs also surfaced last year with the Pentagon's creation of the Northern Command, or Northcom, based in Colorado Springs, Colo. The new command, the first such military command designed to protect the U.S. homeland from a terrorist attack, has responsibility for the U.S, Canada, Mexico, portions of the Caribbean and U.S. coastal waters. Northcom's commander, Gen. Ralph "Ed" Eberhart, is the first general since the Civil War with operational authority exclusively over military forces within the U.S.

"What we are starting to see is 50 years of legal refinement and revisions for oversight being quietly jettisoned. "

As i can the most likely strategy (and yes i understand i have no formal military planing, no credentials what so ever but i do have basic logic and reasoning skills) the best means of at would be to effectively mass siege.

Meaning:

Cut fuel, food, and general supplies- except that received directly from designated supply areas.

Possibly jam block, or halt non-military telecommunications

And corral citizens into defensible locations.

While simplistic, it is in my view a very likely plan of operations. Its is very possible this is all hype and going to blow over in a few weeks, but its not a chance i wish to take. We need plan as a group and we need to be prepared.

For this individual that means:

Get prepared meals. MRE's, canned food, and other non-perishables

Consider arming your self. (Be warned without proper understanding a weapon is just as dangerous to you as others) Don't forget even the most basically trained troops are still able to shoot strait, its best to avoid bloodshed.

Water is the most valuable asset, avoid water treating systems that are used up. Like water tablets.

The most important is to remember the path of victory can not be lined with the bodies of heroes, we cant let it.

As a whole i believe we need to make some preparation before hand. specifically communications. We need to branch out and interconnect.

While we must plan for the worst never forget even if invaded the troops will still be human. And most importantly they are patriotic, we must make them understand what the fight truly means and we can win without useless death.

You do realize this is well within the mandate of Congress given Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution right?

To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;

They've had this right since day 1.

That's why GW was able to put down the whiskey rebellion, legally.

You can't have it both ways... Either you support the Constitution and the duties it confers or you don't.

Moshpet, I agree. As we stand now, this would be considered ridiculous.

I do see unrest, though. Primarily over the healthcare bill. I see that as a huge piece of the puzzle in terms of the civil unrest that would develop if this bill is signed with the majority of americans against the bill.
What could/would 400K troops do?

Not much. Something else would have to come into play to create a scenario that would make those 400K effective.

Swine flu? Naw. . . . it's a "bread and circuses" (thatks ATS for that saying) for the masses.

What ever it is, we haven't seen it yet.

It may look like dark days, but the neat thing I'm seeing is that americans have never been faced with this kind of overt socialism before. It's refreshing to see americans wake up and start fighting back.

Keep the faith people.

This doesn't feel right

First we have a cargo ship that was carrying some unknown cargo goes missing, Then we have the pentagon wanting to have 400,000 troops in us cities.

Does anyone see a connection here besides me?

I'm 29 and I would stand by you and my fellow Americans in getting rid of our tyrannical government in a heartbeat! I think you're right. The really sad thing is I fear our country will turn on each other i.e. liberals vs. conservatives, democrats vs. republicans instead of turning on the powers that be. We are so divided it's scary. People have NO CLUE just how disastrous the US Civil War was. There is going to be a second one for sure. If the recent riots in the Chino State prison in CA are any indication of what a full out civil war would be like..........it won't be pretty. The government would hire prisoners with nothing to lose, mercenaries. The US Government is in fact insane and will do anything in its power to spark war and destroy dissenters.

My question for everyone is what wealthy, freedom loving Americans are going to step up and support our cause? I have yet to meet very many wealthy people that really care about preserving American constitution and freedom for the little guy and the middle class. Without money and backing a revolution will be doomed. Just look at the South during the Civil War.

Of course, that attitude also works in the other direction.
If some foreign soldier comes to our land to police our streets, he had better be prepared to reside here permanently six feet under.

I agree but what if they're stuck? What if the dollar collapse and they don't have money to get the fuel needed to come back home.

I admit I am paranoid, a healthy paranoid but its only because I read a lot. To many parallels going on right now for any good to come out of the current administration. And with the media towing the corruption hook line and sinker it is very hard for the brainwashed to see the truth. The Obamatrons will be screaming for us to be murdered like they're right now.

They're preparing for death on a massive scale and its not a training exercise.

Good thing liberals don't have guns.
Well except for the gang bangers in the inner city. I have heard a rumor that the CIA has been arming the mexican and black gangs with AK47's....

They will find a way. I'm sure a few of our troops have made friends with some sheiks over in the Mid East, fuel wouldn't be a problem.

If the dollar collapses the price of oil should bottom out, because there is still a majority of oil that is bought and sold in the petrodollars, I could be wrong on that, if it did happen there would be a small window to buy tons of oil for cheap. It wouldn't take long for them to figure out what to buy and trade in after that.

As I said though, our troops would find a way.

Edit to add -

Yes, they are, but this is what truly worries me, if/when it all goes down, I'm afraid people will start silencing them if you catch my drift.
