Give up, they already have us where they want us.

I have been a bartender for the last 12 years. Not just a regular bartender, a good one, a really good one for the majority of that time.

Seven or Eight years ago I would NEVER allow political discussion in my bar but these days I can't seem to stop it no matter what I do, seems the best I can do is stop people from strangling each other.

This is the deal and if you read one thread on ATS this month then please realize this is the thread that tackles the problem. We have so many far left and far right users here that all of our energy is projected at one another.

This is myriad in real life. We have left and right ideals fighting every day like a boxing match to conclude a manufactured result. We are all so wrapped up in our own beliefs and convictions we fail to see the bigger picture, we fail to see what we are becoming day by day.

Ask yourself a question..... Are you a capitalist, a socialist, a communist or a patriot. Which one are you? Do you even know where you fit in? America is so diverse with the ideals of the average people being underplayed and manipulated that I doubt any of us know where we really stand and that is exactly what they want.

You MUST stop thinking of your personal views as the guiding force in the very new administrations shaping of our country. It does not matter where you are from, what your religion is our what you want to accomplish. It doesn't matter if the laws that are being passed seem to be in you favor for the moment.

As Americans, White, black, brown, green, yellow or red, we have all been given a chance to be all we can be because a piece of paper that many within our own government is determined to say is obsolete tells us we have that opportunity.

The fight is now supposed to be between the left and the right. That is what we are SUPPOSED to think and act out and is what takes the focus off of the real problems at hand.

I have seen this problem in the bar between the left and right for years now, I have just now seen the two sides realize that this situation is not focused on a PC view, it becomes an issue of free men and slaves.

Obama is a socialist, he has admitted this more than once and has proves this with actions beyond any words. Americans must unite now and protect our republic as it is in jepordy because most of us don't know what is at stake.

I work within the publication/media industry, I couldn't have said it better as it is a rule at work that politics is not to be discussed but instead reported, written, printed and then circulated but for the past 8 months you can't walk around any of our buildings without hearing arguements between coworkers, I have never seen the HR department so busy in all my years of working there but it feels like it is coming to a head.

Our Publisher (Boss) has made it very clear that we are all going to drop off the face of this earth with all this infighting while the people responsible are smoking their cigars, drinking their koniac (?) and laughing at how they have us chacing our tails.

It is so sad to see that even at ATS that we agree about conspirasies but not that our Republic is being taken away from us ALL!
